Chapter 26: You are the Reason

Heidi's POV

Heidi: There goes my heart beating. {I close my eyes thinking of breaking Hayden's siren spell.} 'Cause you are the reason. {I open my eyes back up and look deep into the fogged covered eyes of Harry.} I'm losing my sleep.{Hayden who looks a little panicked walk up behind Harry.} Please come back now. {Hayden brings Harry down her level as she whispers something in his ear.} There goes my mind racing. {My singing does seem to be having an effect on Harry.} And you are the reason.{Hayden smiles a sadistic grin as she walks away from Harry and over back to Morris.} That I'm still breathing.{Harry starts walking towards me as he clutches his sword tightly in one hand and his hook in his other hand.} I'm hopeless now. {Harry suddenly stops and shakes his head, and it would seem that seem to do something to him.}

I'd climb every mountain. {It only takes a moment for Harry to shake off whatever happened to him before he starts stalking his way over to me again.} And swim every ocean. {I stand back up on my feet knowing that if Harry is going to kill me then he is going to do by looking me in my eyes.} Just to be with you. {Harry and I stand face to face as I look at the man I love but he for right now he has been spelled to be the old Harry he has fought to overcome.} And fix what I've broken. {Harry thrusts his sword forwards at me but I stop the sword my grabbing his hand.} Oh, 'cause I need you to see. {Harry and I lock eyes and I look at him with the love I can.} That you are the reason. {I see the fog in Harry's eyes seem to fade away.} 

There goes my hand shaking.{Harry swings his hook at me forcing me to let go of his hand so that I can avoid the sharpness of his hook.} And you are the reason. {I walk back up to him knowing that he could strike at any moment and end my life right there on the spot, but I won't let Hayden use Harry like this.} My heart keeps bleeding. {I place my hand on over his heart as Harry looks down at my hand.} I need you now. {Harry looks from me to his sword then back to me.}

If I could turn back the clock. {I can tell as he stands in the middle of the field that he not sure on what he really wants to do.} I'd make sure the light defeated the dark. {A little bit more of the fog in Harry's eyes fade away.} I'd spend every hour, of everyday. {I start to feel like this is hopeless, I am no match for Hayden's spell.} Keeping you safe. {I think of the only thing that might be help break this spell.}

And I'd climb every mountain. {I walk to Harry avoiding his sword and his hook.} And swim every ocean. {I grab his sword hand in mine own hand.} Just to be with you. {I grab his hook hand in mine own hand.} And fix what I've broken. {I place gentle kiss on his on lips hoping that true loves kiss is the most powerful magic in the world.} Oh, 'cause I need you to see. {Harry falls to his knees as he looks at me with a range of emotions in his eyes.} That you are the reason, oh. {I can feel that Hayden's spell over Harry is starting to slowly lose it effect.}

Mal and Evie: I don't wanna fight no more. {I look behind me as Mal and Evie wink at me but they keep their distance knowing that I am the only one that might get through to Harry.} I don't wanna hurt no more. I don't wanna cry no more. Come back, I need you to hold me closer now. {Harry throws his sword down to the ground.}

Heidi: You are the reason, oh. {I take step towards him as Harry clutches his head.}

Mal, Evie, and Uma: Just a little closer now. {I notice Uma has joined in and I have to say that I am little surprised after the big blow out that we had that she would want to help me.} Come a little closer now. I need you to hold me tonight.

Heidi: I'd climb every mountain. {I grab Harry's sword and tosses it far enough that neither one of us could get to it.} And swim every ocean. {I carefully keeping walking up to Harry as he struggles with fighting against what the spell is trying to make him do and what his heart is telling him.} Just to be with you. {I kneel in front of him as he wraps his hook around my neck, but I have to believe that my Hooky is still in there somewhere and I know that he would never hurt me, spell or not.} And fix what I've broken. {I place my hand on his cheek as the two of us look into each other's eyes.} 'Cause I need you to see. {The fog that covered Harry's eyes completely lifts off from him.} That you are the reason. {Hayden and Morris vanish into a cloud of red smoke.} 

"What happened?' Harry asks as he shakes his head and I just kiss his lips softly thankful that my Hooky is back to himself, "What do you remember?" I ask him pulling out of our kiss, "The last thing I remember is Hayden trying to get me to kill you." I gently take his hand, "She placed you under a siren spell, you did try to kill me but thanks to some help from Mal, Evie, and Uma I managed to break the spell before you did any serious damage." Harry wraps his arms around me and pulls me tightly against him,

"Love,I am so sorry for whatever I did, I didn't mean any of it." I pull out of the hug and look into the blue eyes that mean the world to me, "I know, Hayden tried and she failed, true love is more powerful than anything." Harry stands up back on feet before holding his hands out to me and helps me back to my feet, "We need to talk, I think it is time for us to get you caught up on everything that you missed."

Harry takes his finger and lightly wipes the tear from my eye. I know that I am crying because I know that I have to tell him everything, and I am not sure how he going to react once he finds out the truth about everything. I take his hand and lead him into the woods where he and I can talk in private.
