Chapter 39: Father and Daughter Moment

Heidi's POV

I laugh before run up to my dad and give him the biggest hug as he spins me around then placing me back on my feet. "Does this mean you are staying in Auradon?" He kisses my head and nods his head, "It is not like I can stay in the Underworld anymore with Hayden running the place, plus Auradon is where is my real family is that." Hades smiles down at me before looking at Harry who slowly walks up to the two of us."My daughter tells that you are my son in law?" Harry nods his head and I can tell that he is scared of what Hades might do, 

"I'm am sure that you two will be very happy together." My dad says as he smiles at Harry before turning his attention down to me and I smile back at Harry over the moon happy that I now have my dad in my life, and that he has completed changed. I step away from my dad and hug Harry giving him a kiss on his lips when suddenly his body tenses up a little bit. I pull out of the hug and look at him before looking over at my dad then back to Harry, "What's wrong?" I ask and harry just shakes his head, "Nothing, just not use to your dad being around." I smile back at my dad as I stand next to him and take his hand in mine,

"Shall I give that tour you wanted?" I ask him making him smile at me as he nods his head, "I would love that." I lean my head on his shoulder as I escort my dad into Auradon, "Where is your brother?" My dad asks me looking around and I gently squeeze his hand getting his attention, "You are going to have to be patient with Hadie dad, he more like you than you know and isn't the most forgiving person." I can tell that my dad regrets everything he put me and Hadie through and I also know that one day my brother will forgive our dad. "He has a girlfriend named Ella who is daughter of Elsa and Jack Frost." My dad looks at me with a raised eyebrow and lets out a small laugh, "Fire and ice,that is certainty something that I never would have thought of." I just nod my head as I think of all the people that didn't think Harry and I would end up together, and speaking of that, my relationship with Harry is still very unclear after everything that happened between us.

"You are going to be a grandpa again very soon." Hades face turns into a sour grim as he looks from me down to my belly then back to me. "I am not pregnant, but Ella is." Hades lets out what sounds like a breath of relief, "I would like to meet my grandson." I smile at him as I nod my head knowing now that I can start trusting my dad, "I am sure that he would love to meet you, but I don't want to rush into something." My dad nods his head understanding why I want to take our new father and daughter relationship slow, "Baby steps dad." I take his hand as I look over to see Harry talking with Audrey of all people, 

"Wonder what those two could be talking about?" Hades looks over at where I am looking and I notice his hair flame up, "It's okay dad, Harry and I have been through a lot, and our relationship is very rocky at the moment." I lead my dad away from the party and into quite area. "What is going between you and pirate?" My dad asks me as we both sit down on a bench nearby and I tell him everything from When Quinn got to Auradon all the way up to the present. After explaining everything my dad lets out a breath, "That is a lot to process, but judging from recent events it sounds to me that you aren't sure if you really want to be with him." For a dad that was never there my whole life Hades sure is good being a parent.

"I love him dad, but I feel so damaged after everything." Hades puts her arm around my shoulder as I lean into him, "You do what is best for Heidi, if taking a break is what you think is best then there us your answer, but if you want think you can put everything behind you then forgive him and move on with your life." I look up at my dad and nod my head, "How did you get so good that this dad thing?" I ask letting out a small a laugh, "I know that I am the worst father, but I want to make amends with you and with Hadie." I lean up giving him a light kiss on his cheek,

"I can tell that you are telling the truth, and you will never know just how much that means to me." I stand up off the bench and look down at my dad, "I should go find Harry and figure all this out." Hades nods his heads and stands up in front of me, "If you need me, just come find me firefly." I smile at the nickname as this is first time he has ever called me that before. I give my dad one last hug before start walking away, "By the way dad, try to get into too much trouble." Hades laughs as he inclines his head, "I will be on my best behavior as long as I can." I sigh nodding my head knowing that it is the best I can hope for.

I find Harry and we leave the party as we start walking through the garden. "We need to talk about where we go from here." I say and I hear Harry let out a breath, "You know that I love you, and that I am sorry for all the pain I caused you. " I look into his blue eyes and I can tell just how sorry he is, but deep down inside of me I wonder if it is enough for me to be able to move pass everything.
