Whoops Parenthood

Chapter 3

Writer's POV

Veronica had called a meeting of their friends. We are talking Jughead, Betty, Fangs, Toni, Cheryl, Kevin, and Reggie. Though she didnt just stop there she brought Mary, Gladys, and FP in on it as well.

"Veronica why are we all here?" Betty asks.

"Because Jaylynn and Archie are meant to be together." Veronica says.

"We cant make them be together. They wouldnt even date because they dont want to hurt Jonah." Jughead says.

"I know that, but we know Archie loves her. He wants to be with her and I know she loves him too. Though Archie overheard her saying she doesnt want to be with him at all and it crushed him." Veronica says.

"Look we cant inner fear in their lives." Mary says.

Everyone seemed to agree with her and they left all except Jughead.  He closed the door and looked at me.

"Archie is my best friend and Jaylynn is my sister. I always knew they would somehow end up together, but Veronica we be careful we do this wrong and they get hurt, they could start to hate one another and that will hurt poor Jonah." Jughead says.

"Dont worry Jug that wont happen. I think I have just the idea." Veronica says.

Then she told him her idea and Jughead thought she was crazy at first, but it could work if they plan it right.

Archie's POV

Jaylynn was doing homework while playing Jonah and I just watched them. This was all we were friends with a kid. It hurts me to think that she will never to be with me and look at them the two most important people to me and Jaylynn will never love me like I love her.

"Hey Arch. Can you make Jonah a bottle please?" Jaylynn asks.

"Sure." I say.

"And hurry before he starts crying." She says.

"Why doesnt she just have someone she loves do it." I mumble.

"What was that?" She questions.

"Nothing." I say.

Did I really say that out loud? I just hope she really didnt hear me. If she did she would move out and take Jonah with her. I finished the bottle and went over and handed it to her.

"Thanks." She says.

She took the bottle and then tried to feed our son while doing her homework.

"Here I'll feed him. Wait how do you already have homework its the second day." I say.

I took the bottle and began to feed my son and Jaylynn wasnt even looking at me.

"Its not homework. Im just writing." She says.

"What are you writing?" I ask trying to sneak a peek.

"Oh no you dont." She says and closed her notebook.

What was she hiding from me? Probably the name of the real boy she loves.

Jaylynn's POV

Archie was just staring at me and I knew something was off about him. What is his deal lately? He has been acting all weird around me like I did something to hurt him. I was gonna ask him why and then there was a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door and SweetPea was there.

"Hey theres my girl." SweetPea says.

"Excuse me? Im not your girl anymore." I say.

"Well your not his girl. So be mine again." He says and grabbed my hand.

I wanted to push him away from me, but Archie seemed to have done it for me.

"Back off SweetPea. I told you this before and I'll tell you this again. Stay the hell away from her." Archie says.

"Why? Arent you two just friends with a baby? Thats what I heard Jaylynn say. Actually thats what you heard her say." SweetPea says.

So thats why Archie has been weird lately he heard what I said. I hurt him and SweetPea just came here to cause trouble.

"SweetPea leave. Now." I say pushing him back and shutting the door.

I turned back to Archie then went upstairs and slammed his door. God this is bad.
