Chapter 11

Jaylynn's POV

Yesterday Archie and I choose Jughead and now I have to tell my parents. Just like Archie has to tell his mom. I went to Pop's early in the morning to get them breakfast to break the news. When I got there I ran into Archie and he smiled at me.

"Same idea?" Archie questions.

"Yeah. I guess." I say.

"So.." He says.

"Pop can I get whatever my family usually get. Please. Thank you." I say.

I sat down on at a table and fiddled with my phone as I waited. Archie sat across from me and took my phone from me.

"Hey what do you say about us doing something tonight?" Archie asks.

"Im busy." I say taking my phone back.

"With what?" He asks.

"Taken care of a child." I say.

"He can come too. Yeah lets make it a family thing." He says.

"Archie..." I say.

"Let me plan everything and you just have to show up with Jonah." He says.

"Arch... Arent you with Evelyn?" I questions.

"Doesnt matter. She doesnt mean anything to me. Not like you Jaylynn you mean everything to me." He says.

"Food's up." Pop says.

I saw Pop with to go bags and handed them to both Archie and I. I got up and went to my car and Archie stopped me.

"Please come tonight. Then we can talk about how they reacted." Archie says.

"Fine." I say.

"Good." He says.

I went home and told my parents that Jug was chosen and they were shocked, but they didnt really care. Maybe they did care and thats why they took Jonah to Pop's to meet up with Mary. I was going to cancel on Archie, but Jughead said he would tell him. Then Jug offered me a ride to the Whyte Wyrm and inside he took me to the park.

"Really? Was this a set up?" I ask.

"Maybe. Now get out." Jughead says.

I got out of the car and Archie was waiting for me laughing.

"Quit it. Why cant you just drop this?" I ask.

"Because I still love you and I think we could really work." Archie says.

"Arch..." I say.

"Archie... Why are you with her?" Evelyn asks coming over.

"Hey! I believe this is yours." Cheryl says coming over to us and handing me Jonah and his diaper bag.

"Cheryl I thought my parents and Mary had him." I say.

"They did. Then Tom Keller asked them to some party thing. They handed him to me and now I give him to you. Also goodbye." Cheryl says leaving.

Jonah started crying and it was his hungry cry.

"Arch a bottle please." I say.

"Of course." Archie says.

He got the bottle out and handed it to me and I began to feed Jonah.

"Im sorry who is this? Why is Archie helping you?" Evelyn asks.

"Because this is his son. Our son Jonah. Im gonna call Jug." I say and carried Jonah the other way.

I called Jughead and he came over and he helped me place Jonah in the car as we heard Archie being yelled at.

"Hey lovergirl get in the car. Your son is getting fussy." Jughead says.

I got into the car and punched Jughead's shoulder. We didnt even leave and then Archie got into the car.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"Jughead dropped me off here. So take me home." Archie says.

Jughead just rolled his eyes and we got to Archie's house and Archie got out.

"Hey could you with him? He looks upset and could use you to talk to." Jug says.

"No. Just leave him be." I say.

"Jaylynn, you love him dont you?" He asks.

"Doesnt matter. Lets go home. Jonah needs to get to bed." I say.

"If you say so." He says.

He just looked at me and we just went home. I sat on my bed and rocked Jonah to sleep.

"I love your dad, but I dont want him to know. Im to scared that I will lose him and I just cant lose him." I say and kissed Jonah's head.

Jonah looked at me and smiled up at me. I think he understood me and I just dont know what to do.
