Jaylynn's POV
I went home after school and when it came time to leave for the Football game Jug and I both were about to leave when my mom took Jonah from me.
"Maybe I shouldnt leave. I..." I say.
"Jaylynn Jones you are going. You can still do teenage things every so often." My mom says.
"But.." I say.
"Jaylynn come on." Jughead says.
He grabbed my arm and we left to the game. As Jug went to talk to Betty I saw SweetPea and Fangs in the crowd and I joined them.
"Lookie here momma got out." SweetPea says.
"Shut up." I say.
"Hey Jaylynn you came party at Cheryl's half way through the dance later tonight." Toni says.
"Well Im not going." I say.
"Yeah Toni dont you know she doesnt have any fun anymore." SweetPea says.
"Jaylynn have you lost your touch?" Fangs questions.
"Yes I have." I say.
"Okay we will see each other later. Gotta cheer." Toni says and walked off.
The game started and as always the team relied on Archie and Reggie. Archie kept looking at me every so often and every time he did he would get sacked. It was now half time and I left to call my mom.
Phone Call
Gladys: He is fine and he is now sleeping.
Jaylynn: Oh..
Gladys: Now you have fun. Love you and dont call unless something horrible happens.
End Phone Call
"Gee thanks mom." I say.
I put my phone down and bumped into someone. When I looked up I came face to face with Archie.
"Everything okay?" Archie says.
"Everything in fine." I say and went to walk past him, but he stopped me
"Here take this." He says holding out his varsity jacket.
"No thanks." I say.
"Take it. You dont have your serpent jacket and its cold. I insist." He says.
"I.." I say.
"Andrews time to play." Reggie says.
"I gotta go. Here." Archie says
He then placed his jacket on me and then headed back to the field. I went back to my seat and SweetPea and Fangs looked at me.
"I see you and Archie are now together." Fangs says.
"Shut up and no we arent. He handed it to me and walked off." I say and sat down.
"Right sure." He says.
By the end of the game I had placed Archie's jacket actually on me. Then it was time to get home to change for some dance. I didnt want to go, but I had no choice. My son was asleep and my mom made me go.
"You look lovely. Now come on Betty is waiting for me." Jughead says.
"Wait hold on." I say.
I grabbed Archie's jacket and Jug and I left to the dance. When we got there Jug left me for Betty and I went over to Fangs and SweetPea.
"Hey pretty lady." Fangs says and hugged me.
"I guess." I say.
Fangs then saw Toni and walked off to talk to her about something. SweetPea just looked at me and opened his jacket and held out a flask.
"What do you say Jaylynn wanna have some real fun?" SweetPea asks.
"SweetPea are you insane. You cant drink here." I say.
"And you shouldnt wear Archie's jacket if he isnt your boyfriend." He says and drinks from his flask.
"Touché. You still shouldnt do it." I say.
"You used to be fun. Dont be such a mom tonight." He says.
I thought about it for a moment and I looked around the room.
"You know what SweetPea..Hand me it." I say.
I took it from him and took a drink just like old times. Maybe I should let loose just one night. He took the flask back and drink from it and it went like this for awhile. The flask was getting towards the end and he handed it back to me once again, but Archie came out of nowhere and took it from me. Without another word he took me with him and made me leave.
Archie's POV
When I saw Jaylynn with SweetPea and he kept handing her a flask. He drank it more then Jaylynn did and he was giving her some sexual look and then giving me a horrible look. So I got her out of there as fast as I could. I took her to my house even though she fought me on it I still had to do it.
"Stop punching my back." I say placing Jaylynn in my bed.
"If you rape me I'll end you." Jaylynn says.
"Im not gonna hurt you. I would never hurt you or rape you. Now go to sleep and we will talk in the morning." I say.
"I hate you." She says.
"No you dont. Who you should hate is SweetPea. Now get some rest." I say.
I ran my hands through her hair as she feel asleep. For awhile I watched her sleep and god did I love her. Oh Archie if she could only see that your love is real and realize that its not because we have a child together.
