Whoops Parenthood

Chapter 21

Jaylynn's POV

Archie was fighting with Reggie about putting all the stuff for baby proofing the house. I put Jonah in his playpen as I walked into the door. It would seem that they still are at it. I left them fighting at 9 to take Jonah to Pop's and then to the doctor and when I got back now at about noon they are still fighting.

"Okay you two thats enough. Why are you arguing anyway?" I ask.

"Because your boyfriend is an idiot." Reggie says.

"I am not. You wernt putting it the right way." Archie says.

"Oh shut up. Your the one who did ti wrong." Reggie says.

"Thats it both of you out." I say.

I pushed them both out the door and locked it. About twenty minutes later Betty, Veronica, Cheryl, and Toni all showed up at the house.

"Whats up?" Betty asks.

"Reggie and Archie were to busy fighting to actually get any work do. So would you four help me baby proof the house?" I ask.

"But this stuff is so easy. How did they fight about it?" Veronica asks.

"I dont know. Just help me." I say.

"Okay lets do it." Toni says.

We did all the baby proofing we needed to do and it was finally done an hour later. They left after it was done and I let Jonah crawl around and test everything out.

"Jaylynn can I come back into my house?" Archie asks.

"Yeah. Come on in." I say.

Archie opened the door and walked in. When Jonah saw him he crawled over to him and tapped his leg. Archie picked him up and kissed his head.

"I see Mommy did the work." He says.

"I didnt do it alone. Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, and Toni helped me. It got done with no fighting." I say.

"Reggie started it. Trying to take control of everything." He says and put Jonah in the playpen.

"Aww and you wanted to be in charge because its your child. You know you could of called Jughead." I say.

"I did, but he told he didnt want to." He says.

"Thats Jughead. You probably called when he was eating." I say.

"That would make sense. Look after you made me leave I to Pop's and saw your brother. Anyway we talked about you about us." He says and grabbed my hand.

"Okay I dont like you and my brother discussing us." I say.

"Look Jaylynn we are seniors in High School with a baby and we dont do much as a couple. So Jug is gonna watch Jonah this weekend. Its gonna be Friday night after the football game till Sunday afternoon. Alittle time together without our son." He says.

"Oh.. Archie I dont know. Thats two night away from him. I dont know if I can do it." I say.

"If you cant then we'll get him back. No matter the time of day. I just think we need this. Oh and your coming to my Halloween party next week." He says

"Woah woah woah. The time together sure, but I said nothing about Halloween." I say.

"I love you." He says.

"Dont think you can get out of this with your cuteness. But I love you too." I say and kiss him.

Jonah being away for two nights kinda frightens me, but maybe Archie and I do need some time alone. Just me and my Archie.
