Field Trip

(Aizawa's pov)

I've informed Nezu of my plan. Take a few students today, and the rest can wait to see Bakugou again.. But I have to take them in the morning. So I'll need a supply teacher.

'All Might perhaps? If he supplies, then me and the students can stay most of the day. Yeah, let's hope we can do that...'

I use the class phone to call the office, hoping that nezu picks up, and he does.

"Hello?" I question, not hearing anything for the first few moments.

"One moment please!" He yells, it's obviously not in his hand at the moment.

"Hello!"

"Ah Nezu, just the person I needed to speak with."

"Oh hello Aizawa! What do you need?" His voice squeaks through the phone.

"All Might. Does he have anything planned for today? Like, any classes." I question, keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't.

I hear a quiet 'hmm, one minute' and begin to wait as I'm put on hold. Not long after I'm taken off of hold and told that there's nothing planned.

"Good, tell him he's needed in my class for supplying while I take a few on the 'trip'."

Right as I say that word, a few students begin piling into class. Surprised at first to see I'm already here. They all say good morning and go on to do whatever while I hang up the phone.

- Tiny Timeskip -

"Good morning class. Today, All Might will be supplying while I take a few of you out for training." I look over at him, only to get a look in return. I look back at the students to hear some groaning, others whispering, and two just looking at me. The two were Midoriya and also Ki- Kirishima..? Wow, who knew what a difference hair gel could make?

'I wonder if Kirishima knows about Bakugou.. I mean, the day I was at the hospital with him, he was constantly messaging Bakugou. Asking if he was alright and what not.'

I shift that thought and continue to to speak. "Due to the fact that the chosen students will be missing classes for training purposes, your attendance won't be affected. Now, will the following students please come stand beside me." All the attention is back on me.

"Sero, Midoriya, Momo, Ochaco, Todoroki and Kirishima." These are the students who seemed most worried, so I've decided to take them.

I watch as the students line up, not in the order said, but it doesn't matter really. "We need to leave now, we can't miss out on training time." I say and point out to the hall. Again, watching as the six make they're way out.

One more glance to All Might and I leave, hearing Kaminari yell 'oh come on!'.

- Another Timeskip -
(Listening to 'Broken by Lund' while writing this gives such a vibe for me)

"Sensei...?" I hear from the back of the group, looking back at the one who called my name. "Can I ask you something..? I-In private..." Kirishima asks and I nod. 'I never realized how tired he looks.. Has he slept at all lately? I'll have to ask him..'

I tell the others to go up ahead a little and stand back with the redhead. "Before you ask me whatever you need to, have you been sleeping..?" I ask and he huffs quietly, shaking his head.

"Can I ask you now..?" He asks looking down, his hair flying in his face due to the bit of wind there was. I nod, allowing him to continue. "A- we're not going to train are we..? W
It's just, we passed all the training spots around and..." He trails off, looking around. I swear, for a split second I see a tear forming before he wipes his face.

"And...?" I say in a questioning tone, waiting for him to go on.

"W-Well... I.... Uhm.. I-I..." He stutters, wiping his face for a second time. "A-Are we going t-to see B-B-Bakugou..?" He asks, breaking down then and there.

"You know.. Don't you...?" I ask, bringing him in, hugging him. He nods, his breathing becoming quicker, quite loud hickups and silent sobs are heard, catching the attention of the others. They go to walk over but I use my hand, motioning them to stay.

"I-I d-d-didn't make it t-to my d-dorm.. I heard y-you talk to them... The par-amedics..." I silence him and we continue to hug. I soon motion the others to come over. Begining to explain what's going on and where we're really going.

"Students, I lied.. We're not going to train. Instead, we're going to visit Bakugou..." As I say that, students hands go up. "I thought you said he went on a mini vacation?" "I lied Midoriya.. I lied because of didn't want you all to worry... But as you can see, this one" I say, pointing down at Kirishima. "Already knows what happened, and where we're going." "Sensei? I know too.. And I assume we're going" "don't say it yet. And I'm guessing Kirishima told you?" I watch a the ravenette nods, worry and sadness filled in his look.

I tap the redhead, "go to Sero, please Kirishima.." I mutter, him letting go and slowly walking to Sero. Seeing him so hurt is heartbreaking..

"We're going to the hospital, Bakugou has done something I'm pretty sure not one of us have expected..." I sigh quietly, getting ready to tell them all. "What did he do..?" "He tried to... He tried to kill himself..." I looked down, not wanting to see their faces at the moment.

"O-Oh... Was it my fault? I bet it was.. He—" "M-M-Midoriya..! St-stop..! Don't blame your-self...! D-don't blame yourself the way I h-have..." Kirishima yells before I can say anything. Glances being passed the red heads way. Them all now seeing how broken he looked. Sero too had a few tears in his eyes..

"Kirishima's right, Midoriya. Don't blame yourself. None of you. But we really gotta go, it's already been half an hour since we left." They all nod, beginning to walk.

"If you wanna walk up Sero, I can walk with Kirishima.." Sero nods and let's him go. Though doesn't walk up. I glance at him confusedly but look down when I feel arms wrap around my torso like their holding on for dear life. I wrap an arm around him as we all continue to walk, soon enough getting to the hospital. And Kirishima has calmed down too.

"Aizawa.. Can.. I go in alone first..? I NEED to tell him something..." Kirishima mutters, I nod and we all get signed in.

Walking to the Bakugou's room, I tell the students that Kirishima will go in alone first, then let him go in after informing him that Bakugou may be asleep still.
