Hello, Lenora

The museum was made completely of marble. Marble columns. Marble walls. Not really much else to a marble building.

At least on the outside it was made of marble. We went inside, and the walls were entirely wooden paneling. Crime scene tape wrapped around the center of the room. Lining the walls were platforms I assumed were for the items scattered in the center of the tape.

"Hello?" A woman on the top of the stairs at the back of the room said.

"Hi," I said in response.

"The museum is closed," she said.

"Oh sorry, we'll just-"

"But the gym is open," she interrupted.

The four of us looked at each other. "Gym?" we asked.

The woman, who looked quite motherly, walked down the steps. "Hi, my name's Lenora, the Gym Leader."

Lenora? Oh right! Cilan said to ask her about HOU I thought.

"Hello, Lenora," Sophia said, then continued as if she had read my mind. "Cilan told us to ask you about HOU."

Lenora looked like she had just been struck, then smiled. "Well, Cilan must see something in you if he told you to ask me about that. We'll have to battle to test it out. Are any of you here for a Gym Battle?" she asked.

Travis and Tori smiled. Together they said, "I am." Lenora frowned.

"Sorry, I can only battle one at a time," she said. Travis and Tori looked at each other.

"Ladies, first," Travis said.

"Oh, such a gentleman," Lenora commented from the stairs.

Tori thanked Travis and we followed her to Lenora, who then led us to the back of museum. Well, we can say I was definitely surprised.

"How are you going to battle in a library," I asked.

"Silly," Tori said. "Haven't you read the magazine, Gym Designs? The battlefield is hidden."

"Yes, hidden, but no, not a technical battlefield. I've had the place redone," Lenora said, stopping at a random bookshelf and reaching to take one down. She brought down a book about a Patrat and a Lillipup. Her face said she was confused. She then frantically started tearing books off the shelf.

"Problem?" Sophia asked.

"No. No. No. No," she said under her breath, throwing more and more books to the ground.

I noticed a book two bookshelves over with no title. I stepped over and pulled it.

"This one, perhaps?" I said as the middle bookshelf slid back and to the right.

"Ah, yes thank you," Lenora said, stepping halfway through the new doorway and looked at a student passing by. Wait, if the place was closed, why was there a student. "Hey," the student looked at Lenora, her eyes covered by sunglasses, "clean this up." I thought I saw a strand of blonde hair as I was ushered through the doorway...no, bookway? I don't know.

Anyway, behind the bookcase was a large room with books just lining the walls. There were wooden platforms which seemed to have a glass display case over them. The battle field must have been the dark wooden floors that matched the rest of the room. Lenora went to the platform to our left and Tori to our right. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the gym's badge in the glass case on Lenora's side. In fact there were a lot in there.

Behind us the door closed behind us, but I swear the student was staring at me. She said something, but I couldn't make it all out. I turned back just in time to hear the ref, who had suddenly appeared, make his pre battle rules.
