As the glowing stopped, and Lillipup's new shape appeared, I felt happy. I felt like our bond had strengthened so much since we met on Route 1. It was only a few days ago when we met, but it feels like months. I couldn't believe it.

My brand spiffing new Herdier stood sturdy, face fierce and intimidating. Watchog backed off from Herdier, but eventually gathered it's wits and produced another glowing knife. I quickly took out my Pokedex to see if he had learned anymore moves. As the entry came up, I saw it.

Perfect I thought.

"Herdier! Work Up!" I said. Herdier's eyes glinted sunlight, and his body slowly began turning an orange color.

"Don't let it finish that attack! Cut!" The grunt said, but Work Up had already done its job.

"Dodge it!" I said. Watchog took a swipe at Herdier's feet, but he jumped over it. "Bite!" Herdier caught the Pokemon off-guard and clamped onto its arm, causing it to let go of the knife. It dissipated and Watchog cringed in pain.

"Take Down!" I said. Herdier backed up a little, then charged forward with a white stream following him. Watchog couldn't do anything but take the hit. Dirt rose from the impact.

"Watchog!" The grunt cried. The dirt settled quickly and Watchog was the one fainted. I looked around and saw everyone else had finished their battles and were only waiting for me. I looked at the Sage, whose Aggron was no longer Mega Evolved, but fainted on the ground. His face showed panic. I pointed at him.

"Now Sage, this is only our second meeting, but both times have been rather unpleasant and put me and my friends in danger," I said. "Normally, I would ask politely to have you leave, but the time for that is long gone. No, now I demand you leave and you had better pray to Arceus that you never see us again, because we will stop you over and over. You know why we will stop you? It's because every single one of us here are Heroes of Unova. And we know without even being told that we will protect the Unova region with all our might until any threats have been eliminated and peace can be brought to the place again!"

The Sage didn't even say a word, just stood there with his panic-stricken face. Brittany chimed up from behind me.

"Well, it's either you leave by your own accord, or we could always give you the big Team Rocket send off," she said with a sarcastic smile. Honestly, I had no idea where she was going with that, but it seemed to work. He lifted his wrist to his mouth and spoke a few words under his breath. Moments later, a helicopter appeared and air lifted The Sage and his grunts out of Nacrene.

"That was fun!" Lenora said. "Unfortunately, playtime is over, kids. Devin, you had meaning in your words, but you aren't Heroes yet. You still need to get to Castelia City to be properly inducted into the organization."

"What about the hostages?" Sophia asked.

"We'll take care of that. Getting all of you into the Heroes is as much equal importance as

"Can you give us a ride?" Travis asked Brittany.

"And deprive you of your chance to have a dream journey with your Pokemon? I don't think so. Plus, you've got Pokemon to catch!" Brittany said. She got halfway into the TARDIS doors when I had another question.

"What are you going to do then?" I asked. She leaned back out and looked at me.

"I've got a mythical Pokemon to find," she said, then finished entering the blue box that was bigger in the inside. Seconds later, it disappeared.

I wonder which mythical Pokemon... I thought.

"I've got a museum to rebuild. Why don't you kids heal up your Pokemon and set out for Castelia?" Lenora suggested. I turned to her and nodded.
