Heroes of Unova [Completed]

To Route 3

I kept getting smacked by branches, but I had to help get the Pokemon back. Lillipup ran swiftly beside me and Emolga glided from tree to tree. Together we tracked Team Plasma, eventually reaching a Route 3. I stopped to take a breath. I had just run a mile from the Gym to Route 3. That's about a mile and a half, and I'm not very athletic.

"You...You see them?" I managed to get out. Emolga did a playful scoping with her hands, then pointed down the path. I looked and saw multiple vehicles with the Team Plasma logo on the sides. All were motorcycles. The trees rustled behind me and two Team Plasma members popped out. Upon seeing me, they decided to release their Pokemon.

"Herdier!"

"Bisharp!"

My Pokemon put up a defensive stance in front of me

"Look kid, just let us get to our bikes, and you won't get hurt," one said.

"Emolga, use a Thunderbolt on their bikes," I said.

"No! Bisharp, Metal Claw!" The grunts Pokemon tried slicing Emolga to bits, but Lillipup stopped it with Bite. While those two struggled, Emolga commenced the attack. She used Agility to speed into striking distance, then released the energy in the motorcycles. After a bit of build up, it exploded and caused a chain reaction.

"Herdier, Reversal on that Emolga!" The second grunt said. His Herdier charged forward, blue rings forming around it. That stopped abruptly as a blown motorcycle landed directly in front of it, causing it to crash into pure metal, leaving a dent in it, but the fire from it singed its skin.

"Agility Emolga! Build up that speed! Lillipup, Take Down!" Lillipup used his strongest move over and over again, but also, kept taking recoil damage. Since the Bisharp was high in levels, it didn't take much damage. While that was happening, Emolga zoomed through the air with a transparent, violet stream behind her. "Now Quick Attack!" Emolga combined the two moves to deliver a powerful blow to Herdier's side.

"Bisharp, Jump Kick!" said the grunt. I had to get Lillipup out of there. The other grunt's Herdier still seemed fazed from the Quick Attack, so Emolga was free to help out.

"Agility!" Emolga knew exactly what she had to do. She sped, barely grabbing Lillipup's back then letting go causing him to roll out of the way. Bisharp crashed to the ground, receiving a lot of damage. "Thunderbolt!" God like electricity glided swiftly through the air, and upon making contact with Bisharp, delivered a good amount of damage. Bisharp tried standing up after, but couldn't. Instead, he fell back down. That's when I noticed the little sparks coming off its body.

'Paralysis!' I thought. We could now come back to Bisharp. So now we focused on Herdier, now recovered, but not for long.

"Quick Attack and Tackle!" I said. Emolga landed first, Herdier's defense being thrown off so Lillipup could land without any problems. As they collided, Herdier was pushed back. He fell forwards, fainted.

Both grunts in a bad place, they returned their Pokemon and tried to high tail it, but I wouldn't let them. "Thunder Wave!" Emolga didn't hesitate. The two guys dropped like potatoes. I powered on my Xtransceiver to get the cops out here.

I finished the call and waited. Tori, Travis, and Sophia jumped out of the trees nearly causing me to throw something at them. Ugh, fine, they scared me so I threw an empty Pokeball at them. Happy?

"What was that for?" Travis said.

"You scared me!" I replied.

"Who are these guys?" Tori said, changing the subject.

"Team Plasma guys. They've been paralyzed thanks to Emolga here," I said. "I called the police a little bit ago so they should be here soon."

"And the flaming motorcycle that you are sitting on," Sophia said.

"Emolga blew them up," I said.

"So that's what we heard," Tori said.

Team Plasma must like to have perfect timing, because here came their helicopter. It landed and the Sage climbed out.

"Ah, children," he said with an evil smile. "I see you have taken out a couple of our goons."

"They needed to be taken out," I said.

"Indeed they did. You took out a couple of the worst. The idiots decided to run through the trees and follow one of the people defending the heroes," the Sage said. When he said heroes, he made it sound like an organization.

"How are we in any way heroes?" Sophia asked.

"Well, based on your actions, your part of Unova's secret cult," he replied.

"We don't know what you're talking about," I said, suspicion clear on my face.

The Sage could've stared a nail through my head right then. "So you are telling me that you have no idea what HOU stands for?" the Sage asked.

"No!" The four of us all said together.

"Oh, well, then I'll just take my men and be off," the Sage said. Emolga and Lillipup stood defensively in front if me. Sophia let out Cyxia and Purrloin. Travis already had Tepig out and Tori released her Serperior. The Sage noped largely, turned around and walked back to the helicopter. " Go ahead and keep them. You won't get anything," he finished, though we could barely hear him.

We relaxed as he flew away in the distance. Everyone kept their Pokemon out in case any more Team Plasma members showed up.

"What did he mean by the heroes?" Sophia asked. No one got to answer because the police finally got to Route 3.

"About time," I said. I walked over to an officer to tell the tale of my encounter with Team Plasma. After I finished, the police just took the men and left. I then consulted my friends on what to do next.

"Well, Team Plasma seems to be following us wherever we go, so it would be best to move through Unova as fast as we can," Tori said.

"We should at least say goodbye to the gym leaders," Travis said.

"We should, let's go, then we head for Nacrene City," I said.

"But it's nighttime," Travis said.

"And?"

"No, you're right, let's go," he said.

"So we are going straight to Nacrene City after talking to you guys," I explained to the ex-gym leaders outside the restaurant.

"All right," Cilan paused for a moment. "Hey, after you guys beat Lenora, talk to her about HOU. Tell her I told you."

"Are you sure, Cilan?" Chili asked.

"They've proven themselves. Let Lenora decide," Cilan said. He and his brothers then turned around and walked away.

"Right, let's go then," I said. Off to Nacrene City, at least until I felt a tug on my arm.

"Mister, did you find my Petilil?" The girl from before asked. I knelt down.

"I'm sorry, but no," her face sunk, "but I will do everything in my power to get your Pokemon back. Don't you worry." She smiled, hugged me, then ran away.
