Once Yugi is relieved of his heat, he was happy to be out of the dorm room. He went with Atem for the day. No sparring matches though.Yugi chose a picnic in the park. He asked for more stories of Egypt. Atem was happy to oblige, he liked that Yugi is interested in him.

Yugi enjoys listening to Atem. It's like listening to a fairy tale, listening about a land he'd like to visit someday maybe. Yugi loves fairy tales just as much as he loves playing games.Atem spoke more of his family but also of the places he would visit, the cuisine they ate, the people he's met.

"Atem?"

"Hmm?"

"I'd like to visit your other home someday. I mean, if that's okay."

Atem smiles, "I think you'll like it."

Yugi smiles back.

Atem looks over the park, "It is peaceful here. This was a great idea Yugi."

Yugi's smiles grows, "If you still have an appetite, I can show you a great place for ice cream."

"Ice cream sounds terrific," Atem replies.

Yugi can't hold back the little fit of giggles as he lays down on the picnic blanket. Atem looks down at the Omega, the smile never left Atem's face. He's never felt so content before. Atem notices purple specks twinkling in those amethyst eyes.Atem lays next to Yugi, watching the sunset with him.

"Thank you for this wonderful day Yugi."

"Well technically this was your idea."

"But you chose what we did and it was a good pick."

Yugi smiles.

Once the sun has set, the two make their way. Yugi leads Atem to the ice cream parlor he spoke of.Atem's choice is classic chocolate. Yugi went with banana with peanut pieces sprinkled on top.Yugi swings his feet as he enjoys his cone. Atem smiles to see Yugi with such glee. It bought him just as much glee.

Atem might not admit this out loud but he's never felt such warmth. Not of unadulterated lust but perhaps of unconditional love. Even when he knew Yugi was in heat, Atem didn't think of the naughty thing Yugi does to take the edge off. However the thought of what kind of parent Yugi might become did pass through Atem's mind.In a short time Atem is falling hard and fast for the Omega.

After their evening treat, they walk back to the campus. However, halfway there, Yugi grows dizzy.

Atem catches him, "Yugi? What's wrong?"

He places a hand on Yugi's cheek.

"You're burning up. You haven't fed on blood all day."

"I'm... sorry... I lost track...got... distracted..."

Yugi's breath becomes labored as he starts to sweat.

Atem has no animal blood and they still have a ways to go for any blood banks or emergency services.

Atem pulls at his coat sleeve, revealing his wrist, "I know it's not animal blood but you need to feed on me."

Yugi takes a couple deep breaths before slowly extending his fangs. He sank them into Atem's wrist. Atem lets out a soft groan. He's been fed on before and there's normally a numbing pain.

This? Nothing but pure pleasure.

Atem's cheeks blush red as Yugi feeds, he had to withhold sounds from how good it felt to him. Yugi soon pulls away. His pale white face has a hue of color return to it.

"T-Thank you Atem... I'm sorry for the trouble."

"No sorrys needed. Just have to be careful."

Yugi starts to stand up on his own.

"You are right though."

"Right about what Yugi?"

"It does taste much different than animal."

Atem pulls up his sleeve with a smile as they resume their walk to campus.

Atem had another thing he wasn't going to admit out loud.

He wanted Yugi to feed on me again...
