Bakura's Theory

"You must tell me how it went."

Bakura takes a sip of his hot tea before looking over at Yugi, waiting for an answer.

"It was just a picnic," Yugi says, shrugging his shoulders, "Then ice cream."

"Ice cream, hmm?" At Clancy's Sweet Treats?"

"That's my favorite place."

Bakura giggles.

"I did... kinda pass out."

Bakura's eyes grew wide, "W-What?"

"Shhh..." Yugi looks around the study hall room, "I got distracted that I forgot to feed."

"What happened then?"

Yugi blushes, "I had to feed on Atem."

"How was it?"

"It's different than animal."

"You've never had other living blood before, right?"Yugi nods.

"Tonight I'm bringing you living blood."

Yugi tilts his head in confusion.

"I have a theory that we're going to test.

Before Yugi can say anything, the bell rings.

"I'll see you back at the room," Bakura says as he grabs his books.He starts to head to his calligraphy class.Yugi starts gathering his belongings then heads to chemistry.

After school was done, Yugi heads to his dorm room. He goes in to find Marik chilling out on Bakura's bed, reading a magazine.

"Bakura says you're not allowed to leave until he comes back," Marik says, eyes not leaving the magazine.

Yugi closes the door, "Good to see you too Marik.

Yugi then sets his bag down and plops onto his bunk.

Shortly, Bakura enters the room, "I hope you're hungry."

Yugi sits up, "Are you gonna tell me what this is about?"

"Just bear with me," Bakura replies before handing Yugi a blood bag, "This is living blood. Please try it."

Yugi takes the bag. He stares at it as he slowly opens it. He looks over at Bakura, who gives him a reassuring nod.Yugi slowly begins to drink it. He eventually consumes the whole bag. He tosses the empty bag in the garbage.

"Now tell me, how does that compare to Atem?"

"Well, it's... kinda different."

"Like his is better?"

"Kinda... yeah."

"I knew it!" Bakura stands up, making Yugi move back.

"Knew what?"

Bakura sits back down, calming down, "I felt the same way when I tasted Marik. I knew Atem is your Alpha. I knew it!"

"R-Really?" Yugi looks over at Marik.

Marik looks over, "Its how we knew."

Yugi couldn't help but blush."Do... do I tell Atem?"

"Of course!"

"Bakura, don't scare Yugi."

"I'm just so excited. Yugi finally found his Alpha."

Marik chuckles, "Can you imagine if he never left Egypt?"

Yugi's face went white.

Bakura smacks Marik's arm, "Don't say things like that! Now whose scaring Yugi?"

Marik rubs his arm, "ow..."

Don't listen to such riff-raff," Bakura tries to comfort Yugi, "This was meant to be."

Yugi perks up before grabbing a pen and piece of paper, heading to the desk they keep next to the bunk bed.

"What are you doing?" Bakura's curiosity peeks.

"He sent me a note so I shall send him one."

Bakura hugs Marik tightly, "Our little Yugi is growing up!"
