Jonouchi crosses his arms across his chest, "You two are late."

"Better late than never," Marik retorts.

He and Bakura wouldn't of been late, however their shower got steamier than usual.

"Where's Yugi?" Bakura asks, trying to change the subject.

"He had to help his grandfather," Atem answers, "He should be here at any moment."

"Hey guys!"

Atem looks over at the voice, "Speaking of which."

Yugi runs over to the group.

"Now that we're here," says Jonouchi, "Let's go to the pier!"

Seto softly chuckles to himself at the Omega's excitement. Atem immediately reaches for Yugi's hand as they walk. Yugi smiles, intertwining their fingers. They walk in the back of the group. Atem was excited to be exploring another part of the city, especially with his Omega. He looks over at Yugi, who is staring at a tall gentleman on the other side of the street.

"Yugi? Something wrong?" Atem whispers.

Yugi snaps to, looking over at Atem, "That man. The one in the black jacket and purple hat, his aura is quite dark."

Atem lets go of Yugi's hand before moving to the other side of the Omega. He then wraps his arm around Yugi's shoulders, warmly smiling at Yugi. The Omega places his hand on the hand that drapes over his shoulder.

The group crosses the short bridge to the pier. Atem scans over the area.

"What do you think?" Yugi asks.

"It quite nice," Atem answers, "It looks like there's so much here."

"Do you have something like this back at your home in Egypt?"

Atem shakes his head, "We do not. Although we don't live near the shoreline of the country."

"We'll try a little of everything then," said Yugi, "Especially the food. Being right at the water means there is plenty of seafood dishes to try"

Atem smiles, "I'll take your word for it Yugi. You haven't told me wrong before."

The group decides to start playing various games such as throwing darts at balloons, tossing ping pongs balls into fishbowls of water, and knocking over bowling pins with softballs.

Yugi takes Atem to one of the food stands for a bowl of chowder. The Omega adds saltine crackers to his bowl before the two take their first bite.

"What do you think?"

"It's really good."

Yugi smiles as he sees his Alpha truly enjoying his food.

"It's very rich and thick."

"That stand makes their own cream for their soup."

"You must visit this stand often then?"

"Since I was little. My grandfather would take me often here while Mom is at work."

"Speaking of eating, did you feed like you're supposed to?"

"Yes Atem, I did."

"I don't want you fainting."

"I know Atem. I promise I'm not trying to scare you."

Atem places a kiss on Yugi's cheek, "I can't help but to worry about my Omega."

Yugi blushes a shade of pink before he finishes his bowl of chowder.

Atem finishes shortly after. He looks over at Yugi and chuckles, grabbing a napkin and wiping up Yugi's cheek.

Yugi blushes even more, "Oops."

Atem smiles warmly before the two both jump to the sound of a loud boom.

They stand up, looking over at the downtown area where black smoke is emitting into the air.

Atem grabs Yugi's hand, "We should find the others."

They run across the pier, soon to the find the others in a group by the bridge.

"What is going on?" Atem asks once he reaches them.

"We're not sure," Jonouchi says before pointing over to the bridge entrance, "but that man isn't letting anyone leave the pier."

Yugi clings onto Atem's arm when he sees and recognizes the man, and his dark aura.

Soon, the sirens begin to go off.

"Warning! Warning! Incoming werewolf invasion! Please take shelter!"

A young vampire has passed by the group, charging at the 'gatekeeper.'

The man smirks before putting his hand in front of himself, sending yellow sparks at the vampire which sends him backwards.

"Perhaps we should do something," Marik says quietly.

"What could we do?" Bakura asks.

"Anything but standing here," Atem answers, pulling out his deck of cards.

He pulls one, flashing it before him.

"Hyorinmaru!"

Ice spears shoot from the glowing card. The man fires yellow sparks once again, turning the spears into powdery snow. Atem grits his teeth.

The man chuckles, "You'll have to do better than that."

Seto starts to step forwards, only to be stopped by being grabbed by his arm. He looks over to see Jonouchi.

"You aren't seriously thinking of challenging him?"

"We can't stay here Jo, not while werewolves roam the territory."

"I know, but... I mean, I know you've been working on your training but we don't know what that stranger is capable of."

"He uses lightning so I have the advantage."

"But Seto-"

"We have to think of Shizuka and Mokuba."

Jonouchi stares into those sapphire orbs for a moment before letting go.

"Please be careful."

Seto smiles at his Omega before turning serious and advancing to the man.

"My next challenger, hmm?"

Seto crosses his arms, "Give me your best shot."

"My best shot will kill you."

The comment makes Jonouchi shiver. He continues to watch his Alpha, clutching his chest with his fists.

Seto smirks, "One way to find out."
