CHAPTER 7

So Jenny and I walk to the exit of the mall where we meet face to face with Mr.Anger .

JADE'S POV

'Ughh wasn't that embarrassment earlier in his car okay for him? Now I have to face him.' I tell myself.

I turn to pull Jenny but she has bow downed her head looking at her shoes. I guess she is trying to her hide her face which wasn't in the best condition right now from Mr.Anger.

I then turn back to Mr. Anger and look straight into his eye. He smirks at me making me roll my eyes.

Jenny whispers,"Good Afternoon Sir" and we both turn to look at her. Mr.Anger replies,"Good Afternoon Jenny, how are you?" . "I am good sir" Jenny replies . With that she pulls my dress lightly signalling me to also greet but I ignore.

I grab her hand wanting to pull her so that we can leave but Mr.Anger says , "Please hold on a second. Jenny can you kindly leave me alone with Jade I want to speak to her privately."

With that , Jenny raises her head and looks at my face with a suprise look and nods her head to Mr.Anger then leaves.

Still looking into his eyes, I give him a bitchy face, fold my hand and say,"What do you want to tell me?".

"I think you own me some apologise young lady" he says. WTFFF...hah this guy must be joking.

"Are you being for real here? I don't need to apologize for anything. You are the one owing me some apologizes old man" I reply.

He moves closer to me making me step back and look around to see people looking at us like we are giving a show. 'Dont those people have things to do with their lives than watch other people smh'.

My attention is brought back to him when he hold up my face to him. He says ,"I said you are the one owing me the apology so apologize". I hit his hand of my face and move much more closer

"Miss Jade you owe me excuses" he glared . I feel a hint of anger in his voice. '0-100 real quick' I tell myself.

"No she doesn't." a voice says from behind me .Then i feel a hand wrap around my waist so I turn to realise it is Dave.

'What the hell is he doing here?' I ask myself.

"What is due to such an honour to meet you here Mr.Dave?"Asher says arrogantly.

"Nothing just came to see my girlfriend".Dave says. Asher then looks at me with an eyebrow raised and looks back at Dave. Dave then winks at me signalling me to play the game.

So I say," Hey babe" and hug him. From the corner of my eye I can see Jenny's eyes widen and Asher glares at the both of us.

I look up to him into his eyes and say, "I guess our little conversation is done Mr. Asher. I would like to have some alone time with my boyfriend ." I say  emphasizing on the word boyfriend.

He frowns slightly at me then says,"Sure Miss.Jade. See you in the office" and leaves.

I then turn to look at Dave and smile at him.

DAVE'S POV

She turns to look at me and smiles and asks,"How do you know him?".

"We worked together once on a business project." I reply and she nods. She then says, "Thank you for saving me from the conversation I was having with him."

I reply," No need, from afar I recognize you and wanted to talk to you so I got closer and realized the face you were doing so I thought I could help out." She smiles and turns her head to her friend who wants so far from us and tells her to come.

Jade looks up to me and says, " Well let me introduce myself. I am Jade and this is my best friend Jenny." I look at her friend who has lowered her head and nods.

"It was nice meeting you. Hope to see you again next week for our date" I say and she smiles and reply, " Sure see you next week." With that she waves at me and walk away with her friend.

'She is very pretty in real life tho. Thank God it's not a catfish else I would have called Nev and Max' I tell myself and laugh.

We are now in Jenny's car heading home. There is a very comfortable silence until Jenny speaks.

"What just happened and why would you do that to me?" She asks. "What did I do?"I ask.

"Are we not going to talk about the whole Asher situation plus de Dave's own? And where did you get all that courage to talk to your boss like that?" Jenny asks.

"In my defense, all this wasn't suppose to happen and I didn't tell you how rude Asher was on the bar night when he dropped me." I say and she turn to look at me eyes opened and focuses back on the road.
