Night And Day, Fire And Water

When moonlight shines
two shadows walk
unseen by anyone.
When nighttime calls
and darkness falls
two creatures can be free.

Night is their friend
and day their foe
for night lifts all frontiers.
Since day reveals,
but night conceals
how different they both are.

Trees do whisper
and leaves do tell
the story of their love.
A ring to bind,
a promise kept
to stay at each other's side.

As water soothes
what fire burns,
sweet words can heal all wounds.
As fire warms
what water cools
a cold heart may be touched.

No one can see,
no one can hear,
no one could understand
the love that we hold dear.
