I ran out of the blood from the blood drive a few weeks ago. Obviously, I can't just leave the dorms to get food.
But the hunger is really starting to get to me.
————————————————————————I walk to school, deep in thought.
Kacchan, Uraraka, Iida, Kirishima, and Momo have stopped talking to me completely. Whenever I walk near them, they give me death glares. Maybe they know what I'm hiding. No, there's no way.
I sit down at my seat, only to feel the eyes of my theorizers in my back. I sigh, and go to take out my books when I hear the door open and close, and in walks Sensei. But when he spots me, he visibly sighs and gives me a sad look.
Does he know?
"Ok class, before lessons start, I'd like to bring up a recent issue. We are going to have a class discussion."
Every other time we've had a class discussion, the villains had attacked or someone was missing. But this time was different... I could feel it.
He looks right at me.
Oh god.
"Midoriya, you've been wearing that mask of yours for almost two months now, and I'm pretty sure me, and your classmates are curious to why you would need it for so long." Aizawa says with a concerned expression.
I feel my body tense up.
I just need to play it cool.
"I-I told yo-you. I'm j-just sick that's a-all" I feel my face heat up, everyone was staring at me.
"See, that's the thing, recovery girl says she has no medical records of you where you would need to wear a thing like that" He says, solemnly.
"I-I-I.....I-uh-I"
DANG IT IZUKU! THINK!
"Uh... why would you be wondering?" I say defensively.
The class looks a little shocked at my tone of voice. To be honest, it was much darker than usual.
"Because your friends came up to me after you passed out and told me everything that's been going on right underneath my nose. Now tell me, why won't you take off the mask?" He slightly smirks.
"I-uh-I hi-ih-uhh-I'm-I-um"
I can feel my heart beat faster by the minute, so does my breath.
I can feel tears reach the brim of my eyes.
I can't tell them.
They'll hate me."Uh-I need to use the restroom." I say, getting up and speed walking to the door.
"Oh no you don't" Says Aizawa as he grabs me with his scarf.
I quickly activate One For All and kick my way out of the scarf. The rest is kind of a blur.
Uraraka POV
Running. I'm running as fast as I can. Aizawa sent me to chase after Deku because I'm close with him. I have it all planned out.
1- I catch up with Deku and tell him to take off his mask and that we'll accept him no matter what.
2- He takes off his mask, reveals... whatever he's hiding. And we all live happily ever after.
Yeah, it kind of sucks, but give me a break.
I'm finally catching up to Deku, only because he stopped using his quirk as a speed boost. I guess it tired him out, because he was slowing down.
I reached him, tagged with five of my fingers, and threw him into his dorm.
"Uraraka.... please...." He croaked out. I didn't realize he had been crying.
"Deku. It's ok. No one is going to judge you, no matter what." I say in a calming tone, walking towards him.
Nono.. I don't want to hurt you-" a loud growl coming from his stomach, cuts him off.
"What do you mean? Hurt me?" I say cautiously as he backs away.
"Argh!" He groans as his stomach growls again, but this time, louder than the first.
"Please! Go away!" He shouts, diving under his bed covers and huddling into a ball. I can see his shape from under the covers. He looks like he's holding his stomach.
"No! I'm going to help you!" I yell back.
This time, I was only answered with yet another stomach growl.
"Deku? Are you hungry? We can go to the kitchen and talk things over there if you want"
No reply.
"Deku?"
I turn around and look at his big collection of all-Might posters and such to pass the time. When I turn back to the bed, he's gone. I frantically look around the room. That's when I hear a sound from behind me.
"Rrrrrr"
It sounded like another stomach growl. Sure enough, when I turned around again, there stood Deku. He was staring at me with wide eyes.
"See? I'm not bad. Promise." I say reassuringly.
He slowly reaches to take off his mask.
"Yes! Good! Whatever your hiding, I won't judge you!" I say reaching out to pick up the mask that has now fallen to the floor.
Still no reply.
"Uh, Deku? Are you ok?"
He walks up to me and sniffs the crook of my neck. Of course, I blush extremely hard. I've never had anyone be so close, it was really awkward.
Then he wraps his arms around me.
I stand there in slight confusion."Mmm... you smell..... nice..."
He says, laying his head on my shoulder.
Now I am just plain scared. What is happening?!"Umm... t-thanks?"
"Like....really.... good."
I can feel his hot breath on my neck.
Yea ok no.
I go to push him away but he has me in an iron-tight grip."Deku? What are you doing?!" I say shakily.
He lifts his head up off my shoulder and looks at me with a slight smile.
All of the sudden, his slight smile turns into a wide grin from ear to ear, almost sadistic looking. But that's not what scared me.
I knew why he kept that mask on.
I knew his secret.
The secret he has been keeping from us.He had...
Fangs.
I'm frozen in fear. I can't move. I need to do something. Anything.
"Can't have my meal escaping, now can I..?" He whispers into my ear.
His....... meal?
My thoughts are cut short when a sharp pain hits my neck.
I scream out in agony. It feels like my blood is being drained.
I scream until black spots start to cloud my vision, and everything goes dark.
