Power is Power - My own Game of Thrones Season 8

First of all, I wanted to thank each person who encouraged me to write this fanfic, and was interested in it. The support I have received has completely exceeded my expectations.Special merit has María (@ chaotic.laveyan on Instagram), who offered to translate this work into English -initially written in Spanish- and has provided very interesting details, practically recreating George RR Martin style. I also wanted to thank Emilia for the ideas she gave me and the interest she has always showed; some of the stories that I will write here you will have to thank her for.

And, of course, thanks to everyone who is reading this now and to everyone who sent me what you wanted to see in season 8.

Speaking of the eighth season, I must say that this fanfic does not claim UNDER ANY CONCEPT to insult, undervalue or belittle the work of David Benioff and Dan Weiss as screenwriters. I liked the last season and I think the end of each story made sense for each character. I think even that Daenerys Targaryen should have gone crazy, and that Bran had to be the king. Blaming David and Dan for these things is stupid, especially if we consider that George RRM was the one who told them, in broad strokes, how the story would end. For that reason, not. I do not pretend that this story is the end of Game of Thrones. The end of GoT, like it or not, is the one that was broadcast this 2019 on screen. And that's it. This is just a fanfic in which I will write how I would have done my eighth season, since many people are looking forward to seeing or reading more possibilities. What I do can say is that neither Bran will be king, nor Daenerys will go mad, nor the White Walkers will be defeated so easily (if they're defeated, which we don't know yet). It will be a different "season" than the one that was broadcast.

Either way, I consider the request to redo the 8th season disrespectful and meaningless. I am not an indignant fan with the end. I just write. And, therefore, I also want to clarify that this is a fanfic.

I WILL NOT EARN ANY KIND OF MONEY WITH THE PUBLICATION OF THIS WORK ON WATTPAD, NOR I WANT SO. It is pure entertainment and desire to improve my writing. What better way than to do it with a great complex work in which the characters are already created and everyone likes to read about them?

The characters, places and plots present here belong to George RR Martin, HBO and D. Weiss and D. Benioff. I do not intend to claim them as mine. This work does not belong to me as such. Therefore, I am not breaking any copyright laws, nor will I profit from this.

That does not mean, however, that you can copy what is written here and publish it as yours. Because this new plot is mine, and has ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Unless you are George, HBO or D&D, nobody has any right to publish this work on other platforms, nor attribute it as theirs. In this case, that person could end up infringing the copyright law and getting into trouble, and we don't want that.

ON THE OTHER HAND

I want everyone to collaborate on this story, "Power is Power." Therefore, at the end of each chapter I will leave a question that you can answer in the comments. The most voted answer will appear in the next chapter.In general, I would also like to know your opinion about my writing style, how the characters evolve, if you like the new plot, the iconic phrases, etc. You can do this better if you read Wattpad from the computer. With the mobile you can also comment, yes, but perhaps it is easier with the first option.

THE POINTS OF VIEW

Each chapter will begin with an iconic quote and then the characters will take turns showing their views (the well-known POVs, "Points Of View", which appear in Martin's own work and in so many others). The views will be separated by strips with images of the characters. When there is war, the images will show the characters in the middle of the battle. The characters that will have a point of view (initially, at least, and if I don't change my mind) are the following:

- Daenerys Targaryen

- Jaime Lannister

- Arya Stark

- Cersei Lannister

WILL YOU CONTINUE THE STORY OR WILL YOU ONLY WRITE UNTIL THE END OF THE EIGHTH SEASON?

It's likely that, if this story is well received by the readers, I'll continue writing about the future life of two specific characters. Although this would only happen if I decide that the White Walkers lose (which is not so sure 😉).

CRITICISMS AND HATERS
Please remember that it is my book and that, although I want to know all your opinions and some of them will be included, I already have a pre-established idea of ​​how I want the story to flow, and even of some new ships.
If you don't like them, I understand and respect it, but after all it is my book; I don't want to become the new D&D that you can boo. I know you have high expectations in this book, especially Daenerys fans, and I am already warning that this book is not made so that the Dragon Queen has the end she deserves, with her throne and Jon and Tyrion by her side; but because I want to rewrite the season to my liking. I will try to give each person a GOOD end according to their story. But I can't satisfy everyone. So, for everyone and especially for the "Daenerys stans", be respectful of this work, which only tries to entertain and NOT supplant the end of Game of Thrones.
