Letter 9

That's it. Dahyun's mom had enough on Mina.

One night they invited Mina on their house.

"Mina sweetie, I'm sorry but please stop this nonsense already." Mrs. Kim said casually. "We just don't want you to get hurt in the end." Mrs. Kim added. 

"I love your daughter and i don't care if i get hurt! I'm already in pain because of all of this! but i guess its all worth it because love hurts." Mina said with tears forming in her eyes.

"My point is... stop having hopes on her." Mrs. Kim said that made Mina's eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean stop having hopes on her?"

"You begged me for this answer a long time ago and maybe this is the perfect time that i should finally say this to you..." Mrs. Kim carefully constructed each words she wants to say to Mina. Mina knows she's not ready for this.

"Mina. Dahyun's not coming back." Mrs. Kim words made Mina's heart shattered into million pieces.  

"Wow... i wish i didn't hear that..." Mina laughed bitterly but she's already crying.

"I know Dahyun loves you, i know you love Dahyun but please maybe its time to stop-"

"Stop loving her?! Forget her??! NO! I CAN'T- NEVER!" Mina got out of control and these words just went out of her mouth. "I'm sorry." she apologize.

"Thank you ma'am for inviting me here tonight. I need to go now bye" Mina said then she left with tears flowing like a river from her eyes.

She ran and ran to god knows whre. She just couldn't stop crying. Mina just want to take all the pain away that she's feeling right now.

She knows that Love hurts but she didn't know it'll hurt this bad knowing that the love of her life is not coming back.

Dear Kim Dahyun,
