Routine blinds us from unsuspecting dangers...

Y/n woke up to a warmth pressed solidly against his back. He was at that level of consciousness, he considered snuggling up to it — and then he promptly sat up and glanced over.

"Uh, Akihiko?" Y/n blinked at the boy in his bed, the one that had his back pressed up against his.

Didn't I leave him on the couch...? Y/n simply shrugged off the thought. Akihiko had been acting oddly last night. Y/n wouldn't be surprised if he needed some — comfort? warmth? — whatever. Y/n then caught sight of what was stealing all of the black-haired boy's attention.

Y/n's brows scrunched, "Hey is that my phone...?"

The (h/c) boy leaned over Akihiko, caught sight of the screen, and promptly snorted, "Have fun with that. While you read through all those messages, I'm going to go back to sleep."

Y/n yawned and turned back over, pressing his back against Akihiko's once more. What could he honestly say? He liked the warmth. Besides, Y/n didn't really care if Akihiko went through his phone. He was probably making sure Y/n and Takeshi didn't message back and forth about Miho's hair or something. Y/n, on that front, was entirely content with the fact there was nothing about Miho anywhere on his mobile.

With that, he slid his eyes shut and went back to sleep. He next woke up to the sound of a camera shutter. Blearily he peeked through one eye and saw that Akihiko had turned over and was now facing him, but obstructing Y/n's view of the other boy was his own phone.

Y/n grumbled, "Are you taking pictures of me?"

Akihiko didn't verbally respond. The click of another camera shutter sounded and Y/n sighed. He opened both his eyes and sluggishly raised a peace sign.

"You should really warn a guy."

Y/n smiled for the next picture. He wasn't in any state to question why Akihiko was suddenly going through his phone and photographing him — but whatever. It was probably another weird habit of Akihiko's to put on the list.

Y/n grimaced a moment later, "You don't know how to take pictures."

The (h/c) boy then crawled over, took his phone back, and wrapped an arm around Akihiko. He smiled up at the phone as he took a picture of them both. Y/n then inspected the photo.

"You're supposed to look at the camera, Aki-kun~" Y/n whined before rolling over and mumbling some incoherent words. He fell back asleep.

Akihiko silently took Y/n's phone back and studied the photo himself. The black-haired boy threw a shrewd glance his friend's way.

— "It's a real turn-off, you know," Y/n muttered on one of their many stalking escapades. Akihiko was, of course, taking a bazillion photos of Miho. "Taking photos without the person in them knowing." He finished with a playful, "Consent is key~" —

Akihiko now only shook his head. A turn-off for who? He wanted to go back and ask Y/n because the (h/c) boy certainly hadn't minded when he woke up to Akihiko taking photos of him — and Akihiko didn't remember Y/n giving him consent to do so.

He scrolled through the many photos of Y/n's sleeping, vulnerable face. He sent them to himself before deleting both the photos and the messages. He kept the few Y/n was awake for though. His thumb paused in its scrolling as he caught sight of the photo of Y/n's sleepy face and arm thrown around Akihiko's chest. Akihiko hadn't been looking at the camera, he had been looking at Y/n.
