Chapter 34 - Family Christmas?

To say Our first Christmas as a family came and went without a hitch would be far from the truth, Tyler, Greyson, Jackson and I had the day together, Sophia arrived shortly before lunch and stayed until just after dinner, She spent a lot of time playing with Tyler and Greyson completely in her element. Harper joined us for lunch although Jackson dragged her towards his room as soon as she arrived, they didn't emerge till around an hour later

"Couldn't wait huh?" I elbowed Jackson in the side as he stood next to me in the kitchen peeling prawns while I finished decorating the pavlova,

"Can you blame me" he started "I have pretty much been a walking hard on after hearing you guys goes at it yesterday, last night and again this morning" he smirked at my reddening face,

"Shit, I'm sorry Jax" he laughed at me

"No you're not, but thanks" I elbowed him again, and we set back to our tasks.

My Mum and Dad stopped in after lunch, shocked to see Tyler sitting on the lounge room with Greyson but still refusing to acknowledge we were having a second baby. They gave presents to Greyson and made small talk with everyone, I had spoken to Ty about what had been going on with my parents so I wasn't surprised when he spoke up,

"So how long are you two going to keep this up?"My Mum who seemed startled by his question, spoke first,

"Look Tyler, we are just concerned is all, Skye is just about to turn 19, your job takes you away a lot and she will be home, alone with two children under 2, we thought you would have at least waited a year or two"

"Skye will never be alone" he spoke, coming to stand by my side and placing his arm around my waist "She has Jackson and my Mum, she had both of you too before you distanced yourself" My Dad spoke to Tyler, bluntly

"We just don't agree with it" Tyler nodded before answering,

"You don't need to, Skye is my wife, This is our life to live" I watched this beautiful man I get to call my Husband as he continued speaking "All you are doing is forcing your only daughter away from you, driving a wedge between you and your grandchildren" Tyler bent down to pick up Greyson who had crawled to his side placing him on his hip he returned his arm around me, My Mum was crying at this point so it was my Dad that continued speaking,

"I know what you are trying to do Tyler, but it won't work, that is our baby girl, and a baby should not be raising a baby let only 2 Ok" OUCH that hurt but apparently he wasn't done "We accepted one, hell we even were Ok with the two of you getting married, but couldn't you have kept it in your pants for a few more years" I watched as Tylers face slowly filled with anger, he had heard enough, he was done,

"Jax, take Grey" Calling his brother to support him, Jax moved to his side grabbing Greyson and taking him out of the room, Sophia and Harper close behind him. Tyler took a few deep breaths calming himself before he let go,

"You don't get to do that, do you understand me" He spoke slowly, clearly, he wasn't yelling, actually his voice was low, deep - but the tone was from someone you definitely would not want to mess with, a man pushed to the limit, a man defending his family and god damn was it HOT? "Do you actually think you are going to achieve anything by acting this way? Have you actually stopped to notice how amazing you daughter is doing?

"Ty stop" I whispered 

"No, I won't" he replied "She is a great mother, Our son is happy and healthy, he is living in a clean, safe home and he is loved unconditionally. Have we been a burden on you financially - No, I know my not being here isn't ideal, but I am making good money, supporting my family so Skye can stay at home with our children". The room stayed silent for a few minutes before my Mum finally spoke,
