The conversation with my parents was a tedious task, they obviously had their concerns and their many many many questions, but they could see how happy I was and how much love there was between us. Of course they had some rules, Ty and I had to come for dinner twice a week and a family brunch every second Sunday, I had to promise them daily phone calls and at any time if I needed to come home Tyler would take me, the final one was when the time came and Tyler had to go we would sit down together and work out what happened next.

So that was that, I was officially living with Ty and Sophia of course, she took much less convincing knowing as I did the days with her boy were numbered and there were no guarantees when we would return home, my being here kept him here and meant more time at home with Mum.

The holidays drew to a close and it was time to head back to school, Jackson had made no attempts to contact me during the break and I was giving him time as he requested, I couldn't avoid him come Monday though it was impossible. It was surprisingly warm for July 23rd so Tyler walked me to school, pausing at the main entry to kiss me slowly and tenderly,

"Have a good day baby girl, love you"

"I love you, miss me lots, please" I whispered against his lips before kissing him again, pulling away he pressed his forehead to mine,

"Consider it done" he replied, we went our seperate ways, him returning home, me making my way straight to the canteen which I hoped would be open and serving coffee though apparently they don't open on Mondays now so I made my way to the closest available table.

I smelt his cologne before I actually saw him, he sat at my table.

"Good to see you are NOT surgically attached to my brother"

"Hello to you too Jackson" he smiled brightly at me,

"Hey Star" I swear my heart skipped a beat when I heard him call me that,

"You look good Star, you look" he paused "happy, did you have a good holiday?" I tried really hard to contain my laughter but seeing Jacksons confused but amused expression tipped me over the edge and I let one escape,

"Small talk with Jackson Archer - Ok then" I laughed again, trying to take a few deep breaths to calm myself, when I looked at him he was smirking,

"My holidays were good Jackson, yours?"

"I had some growing up to do I guess" he started "Look Star, there is some stuff I need to tell you and I really need you to hear me out" he reached across the table his hands taking mine and intertwining our fingers,

"Um yeah Ok" he took a deep breath before he continued,

"So, in the holidays I spent a lot of time working in the shop, Mick the owner - you remember him right? Well he kinda offered me an apprenticeship, as a mechanic, it would mean I would work for him and go to tafe 3 days a week, it would also mean"

"You would have to drop out of school" I finished for him, he studied my face before he let out a chuckle,

"My brothers been good for you" I held his gaze in mine,

"Yes, he has Jackson, I'm in love with him" he nodded slowly,

"I know, I've been talking to Ty and whilst he never gives me details about you guys, any moron can see you guys are crazy for each other, so yes, I know you love him, I know he loves you, I know you guys are living together" he paused and his voice went quiet "and I know I have really blown it, I know any chance I had with you, is long gone. It's time for me to grow up Skye and school is not the place for me anymore - it never was". We sat in silence whilst my brain processed the information, I removed my hand from his and stood up from the table walking to where he sat, he spun around to face me and tipped his head back to look at my face.
