We received this today:
'Everything seems to go wrong, everything I say or do tends to spiral downhill and because of it, I just see myself as a horrible person that deserves to be closed off from friends, family, and anyone else I care about. All I have seemed to have done in my past and continue to do now is hurt people terribly. I don't see it in the heat of the moment, I guess I might mention a lot of it's online so I wouldn't know completely.'
Everyone makes mistakes sometimes and that's okay because that's how we get better! But if we keep making the same mistakes, we sometimes need to take a step back to think about things. What could be causing you to feel this way? What can you do to help yourself? What can others do to help you? It's important to build a team, or community, around yourself for when you're struggling so that you know where to go for help. This could be people like your family, or carers, or maybe your friends, or siblings. It could be someone at school, or work, a colleague, or a school nurse. It could be a medical professional, your GP, or a nurse or therapist. Just remember that people want the best for you and everyone wants to make your life easier!
If you are unsure, please do contact us, either via our profile or just one of our members. There are also emergency phone numbers of hotlines in our bio.
