Hi there everyone! So I wanted to create a chapter about hair. I realise that many similar chapters often forget to cover some hair types: I've noticed a major lack in hair diversity and I want to show you all (especially my curly girls, guys, and nonbinary pals) that hairstyles don't have to difficult. You don't have to wear extensions or try out complex hairstyles to blend in. You can embrace who you are: none of us look the same! So here are three hairstyles shown on as many different textures as I could find (this chapter might be quite long!).

1. Half up, half down. If you have a hair texture that can be brushed when dry, feel free to brush your hair before you begin. Using your two thumbs, part the amount of hair that you want to be tied up. You can do this in a mirror if you want to be very precise. Take the section of hair on top and decide where you want to place it: depending on your hair thickness and the occasion, you may want the half-pony-tail to be higher up or closer to the nape of your neck. Grab a hairband (a scrunchie can be very good if you have fragile or curly hair) and tie it around the ponytail however many times you feel are necessary. Now you can certainly stop here but if you want to, feel free to gently pull out any front sections of hair to frame your face. That's it: if you have any extra steps, feel free to tell me them in the comments!
