Christmas Chaos

*Alex's Pov*

Shawn went to his meeting in New York and came back really happy. He's actually been going to a lot of meetings recently but he wont tell me wat they are about. I don't know what's going on between us we have only kissed once and we didn't even talk about it. Now my mom has invited him and his family over for Christmas because she wants to make up for the fact Hayden and I found out why my parents really got divorced and she over heard Shawn and talking and he told me his mom lit the oven on fire when she was practicing making the turkey. She has spent all morning ordering food that she will pass off as her own cooking like she does every year because she is a terrible cook.

"Go get ready they will be here soon," my mom says to Hayden and I.

"Fine," Hayden moans and we head upstairs.

When I get up the stairs I hear the door bell ring and it's the delivery man dropping off the food.

I put on a red and white plaid skirt and a white cropped sweater and some knee high black boots. I curl my hair and put a few small plaits in it. I put on my make up and then I head down stairs into the kitchen where my mom has made it look like she did the cooking. The door bell rings and I go and answer it. It's Shawn's family but no Shawn.

"Merry Christmas, come in," I say ushering them inside.

"Thank you, Shawn's just grabbing something from the car," Shawn's mom says.

My mom comes to see who it is and shows them into the kitchen. A few seconds later Shawn walks over covered in snow.

"Merry Christmas," he smiles.

"Merry Christmas," I smile back brushing the snow off him, "Everyone is in the kitchen."

"Cool," Shawn smiles.

We all sit around the kitchen awkwardly chatting until my mom fakes finishing the dinner. We then all head into the dinning room which we only use for holidays. Just as we are about to sit down for dinner the door bell rings and my mom goes to answer it. I follow her to see who it is. My mom opens the door and it's my dad.

"What are you doing here, Levi?" my mom asks.

"I'm here to pick up the girls, you got the last two Christmas'," my dad says

"Well we have guests over so you have to go," my mom says.

"Don't be silly I'll join you," my dad says walking in past my mom.

"Levi we need to talk about this," my mom says.

"Not today it's Christmas," my dad says.

I walk into the dinning room with my dad behind me Alex looks at me like 'What is he doing here?' and I shrug. Shawn gives me a puzzled look as if he is trying to figure out who this is and then his eye widen when he realises who it is.

"Everyone this is my dad, dad this is everyone," I say.

Shawn gives me a look to ask if I'm okay and I nod to reassure him. I go to sit beside Shawn but my dad sits there so I sit on the other side of my dad. RIP. Shawn and Alex.

"So you must be Shawn, my daughter loves you," my dad says to Shawn making me choke on my water, "Hayden listens to you 24/7."

I feel a kick and I realise it was Hayden trying to kick my dad.

"So are you and Alexandra close?" my dad asks.

"Dad it's Alex not Alexandra," I say.

"Fine are you and Alex close?" My dad asks.
