*Shawn's Pov*
After I drop Alex home I go to Tim's and grab a coffee so that my parents don't suspect anything. I then drive home. I walk in the door and I go into the kitchen where my parents and Aaliyah are having breakfast. I take a sip of my drink as I sit down beside them.
"So who was the girl?" my dad asks making me spit out my coffee.
"What are you talking about?" I ask cleaning up the liquid that I spat on the table.
"Shawn we know you and you are never showered and dressed at this time in the morning just for Tim's," my mum says.
"Plus we heard a very drunk girl singing 'What do you mean'," my dad laughs.
"That was a video there is no girl," I say taking another sip of my drink.
"It was Alex," Aaliyah says.
"Aaliyah," I say giving her a death stare.
"Ah, the one with a lot going on," my mum says standing up and putting her dishes in the sink.
"She was slightly drunk and she couldn't go home and I couldn't let her sleep on the streets," I say.
"Well that's very good of you," my mum smiles sitting down with a cup of coffee.
"Please don't secretly judge her like you normally do," I say.
"I don't secretly judge people," my mum says
"Yes you do," Aaliyah says and my dad nods his head.
"See," I say putting my hands in the air.
"I won't secretly judge her, have you talked to her about what's going on?" my mum asks.
"I've only known her a few days, she isn't going t confess her soul to me," say leaving the room.
"You never know," my mum yells after me.
I walk up the stairs and I lay on my bed. What if Alex is in trouble and she doesn't know how to ask for help? What if she never tells me what's wrong? What if she? I push all the bad thoughts I have to the back of mind. Maybe she just has something going on that's hard to talk about. She will be fine. I get in the shower and I turn it to cold. Cold showers always help me to relax.
I get out of the shower and I see that I have a DM from Alex.
Alex- Thanks for the lift home and I'm sorry about everything.
Shawn- It's okay and you're welcome.
Alex- See you Monday?
Shawn- See you Monday.
