Chapter 20 Sweet Spot

Y/n's pov:

I woke up in the hospital with my head on Will's shoulder and he was awake and playing with my hair.

"Goodmorning princess," Will says while pulling me into a kiss

"Goodmorning," I say while kissing back

When we pull apart from the kiss I sit up more so I can be comfortable and I groan in pain. Will grabs my back as he tries to stabilize me. I finally sit myself up and Will puts a few pillows behind me so I will feel comfortable sitting up.

"Thanks," I say to him while kissing his temple

He gets up from the hospital bed and he says "I am going to get some food do you want anything?"

"Ugh hospital food is so bad but if they have like a breakfast bar that would be great,"

"Ok I'll be right back," He says while leaving the room

A few minutes later I see the door open and Mike walks into the room with a glass of water. 

"Hey y/n you're awake," He says with a big smile on his face

"Hey, Wheeler what's up?"

"I brought you some water," He says while handing me some water

"Thanks, buddy," I say while ruffling his hair

"How are you feeling?" He asks me while sitting down on my hospital bed

"I feel like a baseball bat is smacking my organs around inside of my body so I've been better how about you?" 

"I've been good knowing that you are okay but it sucks knowing you are in pain,"

"Aw Wheeler has a heart," I say while playfully smacking his shoulder

"You know I have a soft spot for you y/n,"

"I know that's why you're my favorite," 

"And that's why you are my favorite y/n,"

We both giggle at each other while I drink some water.

"Do you have any pain medications that you can take for the pain?"

"I honestly don't know, the doctors didn't give me shit to take so I have been dealing with the pain," I say while shrugging my shoulders

"That's bullshit," he says looking angry

"Calm down Mike it's okay I'm sure they will give me something soon," I say while grabbing his hand and giving it a light squeeze. 

"When are you getting out of the hospital?" 

"The doctors said a week or less if everything goes good,"

"Summer is almost over and you are spending a week in the hospital that sucks,"

"I know but at least I can go back to school and I am excited for the looks I am going to get," I say while laughing

"If anyone says shit to you I will go off on them,"

"No worries I will just set their pants on fire and act like I had nothing to do with it," I say which causes us both to laugh

After a few more minutes of talking Will walks into the room with a few breakfast bars and some fruit.

"Hey Will," Me and Mike both say at the same time which causes us to laugh

"Hey guys," He says while walking towards us.

"They had a few breakfast bars left so I grabbed the last of them and I have some fruit," 

"Thanks, Will,"
