Y/N's Pov:
When we see Billy everyone gets out of the car. Will helps me inside and Mike helps El inside. Of course, the people with powers have to be the ones in pain. When we get inside Will sits me down on a counter while Mike runs around the mall on his walkie talkie trying to contact the 'Scoops Troop' for emergency transportation but they aren't answering so they must not be there yet.
Nancy looks at the car that is thrown against the wall and she says "No chance that thing will drive, right?"
"It doesn't need to work we just need the ignition cable," Jonathan says
"El can you flip the car?" Mike asks her
"I'll try," she says
We all watch El try and flip the car but she couldn't do it her powers are completely drained.
"Y/n can you do it?" Mike asks me
"Yeah I can," I say while stepping towards it and using my powers to flip it over. Once it flips over Jonathan goes to take the ignition cable out and I see El digging through the trash can. I limp over to her and I see her pull out a soda can and she is trying to crush it with her mind. Once she gives up I say "El, you okay?"
I go up next to her and I use her shoulder for support.
"My powers they aren't working," she says while looking down
"It's okay they will come back you are just drained from pulling that thing out of your leg like a champ," I say while patting her back
"How come your powers aren't drained and you were the one who took my pain away and you went through hell today?"
"Maybe it's because I have a higher tolerance and I am used to using a lot of energy because I have more powers then you so I guess I am just used to it,"
"Yeah, your right," she says while looking at me
I pull her into a hug and I tell her don't worry. Max walks over to us and she asks if we are okay and we tell her yeah. We hear cracking on the glass above us and we all look up and we see the Mind flayer above us.
"NANCY!" Mike screams to get her attention
Max grabs both me and El's hands and she drags us into this stand for cover while the rest of the group hides behind the car that they flipped. There is a loud boom and a loud shatter and when I peek around the corner I see the mind flayer but it looks disgusting. We hear the walkie talking going off and it's Dustin screaming "Griswold Family, this is Scoops troop please confirm your safety over,"
He says it over and over again until we hear the mind flayer grab the walkie talkie and he growls in it and throws it across the room.
"We need to find a way out of here," Max says to us
"What if we run up the stairs he isn't looking," I say
"No way not with both of your injuries," Max says
"There is an exit through the Gap," El says and we all nod
"Ok in 3, 2, 1," Max says and us 3 runs to the Gap. When we make it through this narrow spot El knocks over a bunch of metal poles and the mind flayer heard it. We quickly get cover and I groan in pain but I put my hand over my mouth to cover the sound. We hear the mind flayer release its arms into the Gap and it grabs a manikin and it throws it near us and It is wearing the exact same outfit that El is wearing. I knew it knew where we are so I say "We need to move over there now," They both nod as we quickly move to the other spot in the store. I see its arms reach out next to me as it goes past my face and we hear a loud pop and the mind flayer quickly pulls it's arms back and it runs towards the sound. We all quickly get up and we leave the Gap and we go into the Mall's hidden hallways. We slowly make our way through but we have to stop a minute because I feel blood dripping down my body and I lift up my shirt and I see my sewed bullet wound opened and bleeding and the other one just straight up bleeding.
