Chapter 8

It was the next day everything went back to normal. Lena was home. Elle was home and back at school. And I was back at work the only difference is that I'm dating Lena Luthor. There is nothing wrong with that but I'm just scared.

The work day was going pretty slow and I finished all my work so I went to go see Alex for a little bit.

"Hey Alex" I said as I walked in her apartment once she opened the door. "Hey Y/n what's up". "Nothing I just want to talk". "About what" she said as we sat on the couch.

"First thanks for helping me set up that date for Lena". "It was no problem since Kara helped. I still can't believe that you had that land this whole time and didn't tell anyone. How did you buy all that land it had to be really expensive". "I just know how to save my money and when to spend it".

"Ok so what did you actually want to talk about". "Me and Lena are dating now" I said a big sad. "That should be good news why are you upset about it. I know I helped you talk to her and all that but if she did something to hurt you she better-". "No Alex she did nothing I'm just worried and scared". "About what". "I haven't been in a relationship in a long time what if I mess something up or something". "That's not going to happen just take it slow I'm sure she'll understand".

"Alex I embarrassed myself she kissed me and I just started acting weird". "Wait she kissed you" Alex yelled out. "Yes Alex and I embarrassed myself what if she thinks I don't like her". "She asked you out right"? "Yes". "Then shut up". "Alex that doesn't help" I whined out. "There is nothing to help if you didn't like her then you wouldn't be dating. Right"? "Yes". "Then if you feel like you need to tell her why you were acting weird then do it just stop worrying everything will be fine".

"Ok thanks Alex" I said standing up. "Where are you going". "Going to go check to see if I have work to do then I'm going to go see Lena". "Ok bye. And Elle is staying here for the week since she asked". "Alex what did you do to my child why does she want to spend so much time with you". "She just wants to give you some time with Lena but she won't tell you that to your face you know how she is". "Yeah ok then bye Alex". "Bye".

Lena's POV:
Kara came with my lunch today witch was good because I really needed to talk to her about some things.

"Hey Kara" I said as she walked in and sat down on my couch. "Hey Lena". I put my paperwork aside and moved to sit next to Kara so we could eat.

"So Lena what's been happening with you". "I'm dating Y/n". "That's good news why don't you sound excited". "I kissed her Kara. She started acting weird after I did that. What if she doesn't actually like me". "If she didn't like you then she wouldn't have made me and Alex set up that date". "Ok but what if she doesn't". "Trust me you would know if she doesn't. Just talk to her I'm sure you'll be fine". "Yeah your right".

I was about to say something when my door opened and Y/n came in.

Your POV:
"Hey Lena can we talk" I say as I open the door to see Lena and Kara sitting on the couch. "Oh sorry I should've knocked I'll come back later" I said heading back out the door. "No Y/n wait I'm leaving right now stay and talk to Lena"Kara said. Before I could respond she was out of the room.

I walked over and sat next to Lena. "I just want to talk to you about us". "What about us" I knew she was going to break up with me but why now we only just started dating Lena thought to herself. "After you kissed me you noticed me acting weird right"? "Yes". "I want to explain why". "Ok". Good I don't think she's going to break up with me.

"The reason I acted like that was because I was scared. I haven't been in a relationship in a while and after you kissed me I just started thinking about that and so I started acting weird. I know that's not much of an excuse for anything but I promise I'll make it up to you". "I'm scared too my last relationship ended pretty badly so I think we should just take things slow". "So do I".

"So when are you free" Lena asked. "The whole week. Elle is staying with Alex". "So do you want to go on a date or something maybe not a date I don't feel like dressing up that much". "Yeah we can stay in and watch movies or something I don't really feel like going out like that either". "Ok then come to my house tomorrow when your done working".

"Ok. I have to get back to work now so I'll talk to you later" I said as I got up. "Ok bye". "Bye" I said as I kissed her on the cheek and walked out her office.

The rest of the day I was thinking about Lena and I got no work done. I'm falling to fast for her but I'm honestly not complaining.

A/n:Yes I know this sucks I just feel bad for not updating. I promise I'm going to make them better just give me a little time I need to get to a certain part in the story. Anyways that's it bye.
