Chapter 9

One week later
I spent all of last week with Lena. She spent the night at my house for most of the week too. I don't know why but she just makes me really happy.

It was now the weekend and I didn't plan on doing much today but Alex is making me go over to her house to introduce me to someone. I don't know why though.

"Hey Elle come on". "I'm coming" she yelled running into the living room almost tripping. "Slow down" I said laughing. "Well I'm ready". "Ok come on then".

"Oh Elle I forgot to say thank you for staying at Alex's place you didn't have to do that" I said as we were walking down the street. "Well since I did I think you should let me skip school next Friday". "And why should I do that you need to go to school". "We're not actually learning anything we are playing games all day and we are going to get wet and I don't want to walk around in wet clothes all day". "So just bring a change of clothes". "Please mom I don't want to go" she whined. "Fine but only because I don't feel like hearing you complain but don't think your going to keep skipping this is a one time thing" I said as we got to the door to Alex's apartment. "I know thank you".

I knocked on the door and waited for Alex to open it.

"So Alex who is this person that I'm meeting" I said as me and Elle walked in. "You already know who they are I just needed to tell you in person". "She's dating me"I heard a familiar voice say. "What the heck Sam I was supposed to say that" Alex said. "Oh hey Sam I didn't know you were here" I said. "I was in the bathroom". "Where's Ruby" Elle said. "Elle that was rude you didn't even say hi" I said. "Sorry I was just curious" she said. "I'm right here" ruby said. "Why do you all keep popping up out of nowhere. Where were you". "I dropped something under the couch and I was trying to get it" Ruby said. "Oh".

Elle and ruby went to the other side of the room and started talking while me Alex and Sam all sat down and talked.

"So you guys know each other pretty well" Alex said. "I mean yeah Elle and ruby are best friends and they always want to hang out and that does involve the parents. But how long have you guys been dating". "A few months" Sam said. "Oh that's cool". "Yeah I meant to tell you sooner". "It's ok Alex".

We talked a little more and I could tell they didn't want to leave each other so I helped them out a little.

"Hey so how about I let Ruby spend the night at my place so you guys can go on a real date". "You don't have to do that Y/n" Sam said. "I kind of do you always let Elle stay over at yours and Alex took Elle all last week so I owe you guys". "Thank you". "It's no problem".

After that me Elle and Ruby left.

When we went back to my place it was about time for them to go to bed but obviously they're not going to do that. I could hear them whispering for half the night. Once they actually fell asleep I couldn't so I called Lena because I know she would still be up.

"Hey is everything alright" she said once she answered.

"Yeah I just can't sleep".

"Neither can I".

"Do you want to come over".

"Yeah I'm actually around the corner I took a walk because I couldn't sleep".

"Ok then I'll see you in a few minutes".

I hung up and a few minutes later I heard a light knock on my door.

"Hey. Don't be loud Elle and her friend are sleeping"I said as I opened the door for Lena. "Ok".

"Could you do me a favor and not walk around by yourself at night" I said as we walked to my room and laid down in bed. "Why". "Because what if someone tries to kidnap you". "It's nothing that hasn't happened before" she joked. "I'm being serious". "I know calm down it's cute that you care". "I'm sorry I don't want my girlfriend kidnapped off the streets in the middle of the night". "Fine I'll stop walking out myself in the middle of the night". "Thank you".

We were in my bed with her arms wrapped around my waist.

"Y/n". "Hm" I mumbled. "I have a question". "What is it". "So I have this business meeting in Gotham next week and I wanted to know if you would come with me. You don't have to worry about Elle either because she can come if you want" she said quietly. "Of course I'll go just let me see if I can send Elle anywhere". "Ok we leave on Tuesday and we'll be back on Wednesday or Thursday depending on how good the meeting is". "Ok. Now try and get some sleep" I said as I kissed her forehead. "Goodnight Y/n" she leaned up and kissed my lips. "Goodnight Lena".

A/n: you guys know nothing about me and apparently that's an issue for people (*cough* cough* you know who you are) but if you really want to know something about me just ask I'm going to answer it.
