Chapter 16

Today was the day that we were all going to have dinner. Alex and Kara were coming too even though they aren't my biological family I still consider them my family.

I got up got dressed and then immediately went to the grocery store. I had nothing good to cook so I had to go buy some food. And even if I did have enough I needed to buy more because of Kara.

Once I was done shopping I went back home and started cooking. Thankfully Serena and Anthony were out doing something. So it was just me and Elle. Elle was even kind enough to come help me cook. So it went by much faster.

Lena was the first one to arrive. She wanted to see if I needed any help with anything so she arrived earlier then everybody else. I also think she is nervous but she won't admit that. After Lena, Alex and Kara arrived next. It felt like we waited forever for my sister and brother to come back but luckily they came back just in time because I really wasn't going to wait for them to come back to eat.

"It's funny how you are staying here and are still late to dinner. You're lucky I'm not doing this for you." I said whispering to them while they were looking through the refrigerator for something. "I'm sorry Y/n Serena was taking forever at the mall and then she didn't even buy anything." "Shut up Anthony." Serena said while pulling out something to drink for everybody. "Whatever. I don't care that much. But you better not embarrass me." "We promise." They said at the same time.

The whole dinner was actually surprisingly fine. Serena and Anthony were looking at Kara like she was crazy because she ate so much food. I forgot they don't know that she's an alien. They are the only two that don't know. Oh well that's not my place for me to tell them.

Once dinner was done they all wanted dessert and that was the one thing I didn't get or make. That was really stupid of me. So I went out to go get some. It was pretty late at night so Lena decided to go with me.

"Do you think they like me." Lena said while we were walking to the store. "Yes." "How do you know." "Because they wouldn't have stayed that long for dinner. They would've made an excuse to go back to their room or they would just tell you to your face that they don't like you." "Ok. I guess that's good then." "It is good."

We got the stuff for dessert and headed back. But on the way back someone pushed us into and alley way.

"Hello Lena. And hi Y/n." You heard someone say. You knew just from the voice who it was. It was Lillian Luthor.

"Hey Lillian. Haven't seen you in a while. Not that I'm complaining." "Y/n why does my mother know you." Lena said. "Go ahead y/n tell her." "When I used to work at the Deo me and Alex ran into her a lot. But she always got away." "I just pulled you over here to say that Lena should be dating someone that is her level. Not you." "Wow that really hurt my feelings Lillian." "Mother. Their is nothing wrong with her. And you have no right to bring us over here and tell me who I can and can't date." "Whatever. I warned you. Watch your back y/n."

Without another word she walked away and someone pushed us back to the sidewalk.

"I'm sorry for that y/n." "It's ok Lena it's not the first time I've been threatened by your mom." "No it's not ok. She doesn't have a right to do that."

I stopped walking and faced her. "Look at me Lena. Don't worry about her. Ok. She's not worth it don't focus on her." I said before kissing her on the lips. "Now come on before they think we got lost."

The rest of the night was fine. But I could tell Lena was still bothered by what her mom said. I don't get why she was so bothered by it though.

Once Alex and Kara left everyone went to their rooms while I was cleaning up. If I have to clean up by myself every time I make them something then they can starve or make their own food then. I hate washing dishes.

Thankfully Lena came out to help me after she was done with whatever she was doing.

"Lena." I said while we were cleaning up. "Yeah." "I can tell you are still upset about what your mother said. Why are you so bothered by it?" "I'm not." "Yes you are don't lie to me." "Fine. It's because she always does this. Whenever I went out with someone she would threaten them like she had the right to do it and then the person would break up with me. And I don't want to loose you. I know you said it didn't bother you but what if you were just lying. I love you y/n." "Lena I said it didn't bother me because it really doesn't. I wasn't lying. And I'm not going to leave you. I love you too."

Then I kissed her.

Ok so what I'm thinking is that I do like I second part for this. But it'll just be smut since I said I would write it but haven't yet because I didn't know how to write it into here. If you know what I mean.
