Klaus' POV
I follow Elijah out to the front porch, my stomach churning so much that I almost feel physically sick at the thought of what is to come...
An unexpected smile forms on my face, stepping outside to see Matt and Dean sat either side of Chelsea, comforting her.
"Chelsea..." Elijah softly calls her name as we walk down the steps. She lifts her head to look up at us. He kneels down to her, taking hold of her hand as she nervously searches his eyes and gulps.
I join Elijah, kneeling down beside him, taking hold of her other hand. She gulps again, her watery eyes flicking between the two of us, afraid.
I imagine my expression is only making her worry more, but I just can't help it; I feel so guilty for asking her to do this.
I 'hate' that she has to do this.
"When you need advice, you always come to Niklaus, or me." He starts, glancing down at her hand as he strokes it with his thumb. He brings his eyes back to hers again. "Sometimes even when you 'don't' ask for it, it's clear to see that you're searching for it... Everything that you've been through... I understand why you haven't wanted to talk about it, the things you went through were--'unspeakable."
I gulp, swallowing the harsh lump in my throat as her breathing shakes and tears roll down her cheeks, already so afraid of what Elijah is about to suggest.
"But in trying to put it all to the back of you mind, you haven't dealt with it. And you do not have to deal with this 'alone." He softly assures. "You' are 'family,' we will 'always' be there for you--And I have promised that I will 'always' look out for you, give you advice, whether you want to hear it or not..."
"What do you want me to do?" She merely whispers, weak and afraid.
Seeing her gulp, hearing how afraid she is, Elijah's left unable to speak. He glances at me, hoping I'll step in.
"Klaus?" She presses, another precious tear rolling down her cheek, clearly more worried now, thanks to our reactions.
"Elijah thinks..." I pause, sighing. "We,' think, that you should talk to Damon, about what happened to you. We think--That you should tell him what he did to you..." I reluctantly reply. "We believe it may help you let go of this guilty, ill feeling that you feel towards yourself and Damon..." My voice breaks sadly as her beautiful watery eyes glisten in the moonlight. "If you do this, I 'promise' you, that you will begin to feel better. You will be in 'control' of your emotions, your actions. If you do this, I give you my word that things will start to get better..."
She closes her eyes, glancing down as she gulps.
"You seriously want her to go back in there with him?!" Dean argues in disbelief. "Hasn't he hurt her 'enough?!"
I smile, appreciating his protectiveness. Elijah nods, but Dean appears to be able to see that Elijah is 'sure' it will help, and appears to realize it's the right thing to do...
"You do 'not,' have to do this alone..." Elijah comforts. "We will be there, by your side, through every second, if you want us to be... Chelsea, you do not have to keep dealing with this alone. You never have to be alone again, you need to realize that. You need to realize that 'talking,' does 'not' make you 'weak."
