My favourite and least favourite Cannon pairings

Least Favourite
5. Blast Off and Onslaught (IDW:Till All Are One)
- Most of IDW's pairings are absolutely adorable whether they're background couples or main character couples, this one is not. Blast Off agrees to Starscream's offer to manipulate Onslaught to notice him and develop feelings for him. I don't know about you, but that feels wrong and toxic. It would have been more interesting to keep it one sided. I feel like the toxicness of the pairing was
A. Intentional
Or
B. Going to be further developed
And it was rushed, which is bad sign

4. Moonracer and Powerglide (G1 Cartoon)
- Poor Moonracer, she doesn't deserve this. Moonracer may have been my least favourite on the Elita One Squad, she didn't deserve Powerglide cheating on her with some human bitch. This was just lazy writing, pairing up Powerglide with Moonracer, then forgetting about her and pairing up Powerglide with some human (think her name is Astoria or some shit) literally one episode later. Moonracer should be with someone who'll treat her right and actually be loyal to her. I dislike this pairing because Moonracer deserves better and because Powerglide is annoying.

3. Powerglide And Astoria (G1 Cartoon
- First of all, Powerglide, you cheating Scumbag, you already had an established girlfriend!
- Second, Human x Transformer relationships are gross

2- Boatanica and Rattrap (Beast Machines)
- This was the most lazily written pairing in all of Transformers. It felt like they were giving Boatanica and Rattrap the same dynamic as Dinobot and Rattrap, with the arguing and fighting turning into an affectation, But they rushed it . In one episode, Boatanica and Rattrap, despite having minimal interaction, have this rivalry, next episode they continue it, accidentally kiss or something, forget about it, don't interact for the next couple of episodes and then Boatanica nearly dies or some shit and Rattrap cares for her or something, they don't interact again and then they hook up in the finale. It was rushed and it was bad. Rattrap and Dinobot had better chemistry then that, and they were not a couple

1- Chromedome and Arcee (Headmasters)
- This is just pathetically funny now.
Arcee, this is what? Your third boyfriend?
Overall, after a certain bot by the name Rewind formed an iconic relationship with Chromedome, and Arcee got a fragging girlfriend in the IDW comics, this paring is awkward. They're both gay now, deal with it

Underrated Couples
Tigertron and Airazor (Beast Wars and IDW)
- Guys,does anyone remember how cute these two were? No? Just me? Ok...

Lancer and Greenlight (IDW, and maybe G1, I count them as a couple in G1)
- Fist WLW pairing in all of Transformers (established relationship in the Till All Are One comics) and no one seems to care. Lancer and Greenlight were first introduced in the G1 episode "The Search For Alpha Trion" and were the only femmes that didn't get a male love interest, so IDW thought "let's pair them up together! Background characters deserve love" and now they are my trash background OTP. In the new IDW reboot, Greenlight seems to be with Arcee now, but I hope Hasbro lets Greenlight and Lancer be a couple again in a show or another comic. I don't mind Arcee having a new love interest, because that's her thing, but Greenlight and Lancer need more time together

Favourite Couples
5. Silverbolt And Blackarachnia (Beast Wars)
- Silverbolt is my favourite character in Beast Wars, and his romance with Blackarachnia is hilarious and cute. They deserve appreciation

4. Arcee and Aileron (IDW: Optimus Prime series)
- Fun fact! Arcee's original voice actor, Susan Blu, is a lesbian! Making Arcee a lesbian makes sense if you take in that fact.
- Arcee and Aileron had plenty of development, but many people said they didn't because of the "gals being pals" logic. There were sparks placed early on. So, in order to convey the fact that these two had feelings for each other, they kissed, and it was adorable.
- Arcee and Greenlight seem to be a thing now in IDW 2, which seems weird to break up two perfectly good WLW pairings (maybe Lancer and Aileron will hook up just to spite them) for this, but luckily, unlike poor Lancer and Greenlight, I am satisfied with the amount of time these two had as a couple and don't mind the idea of Arcee getting another partner in a new continuity.

3- Cyclonus and Tailgat (MTMTE/Lost Light)
- Cygate, 'nuff said
Ok, this fucking pairing, this fucking pairing has toyed with my emotions for so long, but now, they are happy, and I am happy
- This was the worst/best slowburn couple I've ever read about , because the payoff was satisfying and the journey was interesting

2- Anode And Lug
- Hasbro, please put these two on a show , any show (or a show that's better then Energon and the Power of The Primes Trilogy), even for a second, even as a Background cameo, and give them figures, that's all I want. If those two things happen, it'll be amazing

1- Rewind and Chromedome
- Best Couple of all time, that's all
