It was the last day of school, yearbook signing day. Taeyong was with Yuta and the two were sitting at their table in the lunchroom, letting people come to them. Yuta was secretly excitedly, Hansol texting him saying he would hangout with the two. That had been an hour ago. Yuta was getting impatient.
"Isn't that Hansol?" Taeyong asked, pointing to a boy who walked into the cafe next to Jae. Butterflies engulfed Taeyong stomach when Jae's eyes met his. He blushed and looked away.
"Hey guys! Finally made it huh?" Hansol said, sitting next to Yuta. The boy shyly blushed as well, feeling Hansol's hand on his thigh. He easily relaxed, not even caring that Jaehyun was right across from him giving Taeyong a sweet kiss.
"Yeah. Thank god. I've been waiting for summer since the first day of school," Yuta commented, getting a laugh from everyone.
The four boys conversed over small things for awhile, like what they had planned for the day and what they were doing after. Taeyong was grateful that Yuta was being civil to Jae, not seeming to give a care that he was even around.
"Hey how about I take all of you to lunch? How about Panda Express?" Hansol asked. The younger three agreed and followed him to his car. Jae took Tae's hand in his, walking behind Yuta and Hansol who were a few feet ahead of them. Taeyong watched as Yuta said something to Hansol and made his way back to the couple.
"Hey Tae, is it ok if I talk to Jaehyun real quick?" he asked. He curiously nodded and shyly went up to Hansol.
"What's up?" Jae asked when they were alone. Yuta suddenly pulled him in a hug, surprising the younger. Jae hugged back nonetheless, giving Taeyong a confused look when he looked back at them. Even Hansol was surprised, going and unlocking the car.
"I'm sorry," Yuta whispered in Jae's ear, squeezing him tight. Jae rubbed back, feeling something wet drop on his shoulder.
"For what?"
"For being an asshole. For blaming you. For not listening to your pleads and apologies. For assuming. I'm so sorry Jae. I miss our friendship," Yuta explained, finally pulling at Jae with teary eyes. Jae's heart clenched at the sight.
"Yuta, it's ok. It doesn't matter anymore," he replied. Yuta wiped the few tears that escaped from his eyes and smiled.
"Ok I guess. And thank you. For treating Taeyong right. I'm glad he has someone like you," Yuta said, sticking his hand out and waiting for Jae to accept it so they could do their little one handed bro hug.
"Friends again?" Yuta asked.
"Yeah," Jae replied, smiling big. Yuta returned the grin and turned to walk over to Hansol's car, hopping in the passenger seat. Jae following, getting in the back next to Taeyong.
After lunch Hansol decided to bring them to his and Jae's house, letting everyone just hang out since they didn't have to be back at school.
"Hey hyung I think I'm gonna take Taeyong out for a little bit," Jae told Hansol, getting a shrug from him like he didn't care. He wanted some alone time with Yuta anyway.
"You never called me hyung," Yuta joked, dropping into the couch. Jae just rolled his eyes and walked out, going to find Taeyong. He went upstairs and found the boy in his room, cuddled up under his blankets and his eyes closed. Jae chuckled and went to him, crawling onto the bed and laying next to him.
Taeyong's eyes opened for a split second to see who it was then closed them again, blushing and grinning. He quickly got out of the covers and cuddled into the younger, his face buried into the boys chest.
"Wanna go out?" Jae asked, messing with the older's hair strings.
"Like where?" Taeyong asked, his voice muffled by Jae's shirt.
"A surprise~" he whispered, getting Taeyong's attention. The boy lifted his head and gazed into Jae's eyes, a light blush tinting his cheeks.
"O-okay~" he replied, leaning over and kissing the younger. Jae happily kissed back, pulling the boy on top of him by his waist. Taeyong placed his hands on Jae's chest and kissed him deeper, getting turned on just by the younger's tongue in his mouth. He slid his right hand along Jae's arm to grab his hand, holding it and directing it to rub his hardening crotch. Jae's grinned in their kiss, pulling back and chuckling.
"Baby you're so needy... you know we can't here," he whispered in Taeyong's ear, hearing him and grind against him.
"Th-then lets go to my house. My mom is at work..." he replied quietly, kissing the younger again and again.
"I have a better idea~" Jae said. Taeyong became curious, getting up and following Jae as he also got up and walked out.
"We'll be back later," Jae called to Hansol and Yuta who were talking in the living room. They said their okays and the couple left, leaving the two other boys alone.
"So... what do you wanna do?" Yuta asked shyly. Hansol grinned and beckoned him over, patting the spot next to him. Yuta nervously sat next to him, sitting crisscrossed and looking down at his lap.
Hansol grabbed his hands in his and directed his gaze so their eyes met. "Yuta, I'm so glad you forgave Jae. Because that makes what I'm about to ask so much easier. And ya know, the future. So, might as well get right to the point, will you go out with me?"
Yuta was surprised, his cheeks in fire and butterflies swarming his stomach. "U-uh... O-oh my god I didn't expect this... But y-yes, I will," he answered. Hansol let out a sigh of relief and smiled, grabbing Yuta gently by his cheeks and smashing their lips together. Overly cliche sparks went off inside Yuta, a grin forming on his lips as he kissed Hansol back, the happiest he has been in years.
