"Knock knock" kola walks into bankole's office to meet him engrossed in a discussion with some dude he had never seen before.

"Aah kola you're here" bankole adjusted himself in his seat. "You can leave now" he gestures to the other dude in the room. "And make sure you keep me updated".

" who was that?" Kola asked, helping himself to a seat.

"That's lawal. He's my handyman, he takes care of work stuff for me"

"Hmmmmmm good for you" kola replied... "So you said you had something to discuss with me?"

"As a matter of fact I do. I have been quite successful in the Telecom business as you already know"......." But my family is looking to expand its business reach and I've got my eyes on Vancouver "

"Vancouver as in Vancouver oil?" Kola asked...

"The one and the same. What do you think?"

"Hmmmm" kola mused.... "Bold move, but too bold if you ask me"

"And why do you think so?" Bankole asked.

"Well for starters, Vancouver oil is the biggest oil company in west Africa. Don't you think they are a little out of your league? Considering the fact that you can't just throw money at them. They don't need it and plus they don't seem to have any financial problems"

"There my friend is the key to doing good business. All we have to do is create a financial problem for them and when they are overwhelmed, we just have to simply show up with a solution" bankole replied with glee. He seemed to always be excited whenever he's about to execute one of his devious schemes.

"And how do you plan to create this financial problem?" Kola asked. keeping a straight face was an effort, He had always hated the arrogance of the smiths.

"Its simple.... Steal their oil and sell it cheaply on the black market" bankole replied.

"Isn't that illegal?" Kola asked.

Bankole let out a soft chuckle as he stood up from his seat. "Of course its illegal. Has anybody ever gotten ahead playing by the books?" he asked as he walked to the very large window on the right side of his throne. "And word on the streets is that Vancouver oil has no heir" he continued as he stared through the window to get a good view of the ocean.

"Well it seems you already have it all planned out. So why do you need me?" Kola asked bankole who was still looking out the window.

"That is a very good question kola" bankole replied as he turned, walked towards kola and sat on the table...... "And that is what I've liked most about you. You're intelligent, and with someone as intelligent as you in my corner, we can do great things"

"Wait are you offering me a job?" Kola asked. He seemed to be doing a lot of that "asking questions" in this conversation, he thought to himself.

"As a matter of fact I am" bankole replied.

"Well as much as I appreciate the gesture banky, I already have a job" kola quickly declined.

"How much are they paying you? I'll double it"........" And you can do what you want how you want it man"........."you'd be calling the shots!... Come on man"
