Mr Femi was ushered into the small holding cell. It was a small dark room with only a dimly lighted bulb as the only source of light. The walls held memories of men beaten into submission, the blood of defiant underlings who wanted a swing at the big dogs. Most of the men who walked into this holding cell, never walked out. He sat and studied the man seated in front of him quietly. He had been beaten out of shape by lawal and his goons. His eyes were so swollen he could barely see. He was light skinned with brown hair and he wore a tattoo across his right arm. Except for the blood on his face, he looked quite the charmer.
"What is your name?" He asked. The response was silence. Lawal slapped him across the back of his head.
"Answer the question!"
He writhed in pain but he maintained his resolve, he wasn't going to betray his people.
"What is your name?" Mr Femi asked again.
"I am nobody" he answered, his head faced down.
"You're smart, I like that" Mr Femi grinned.. "And you know how I know that you're smart?" He waited for a reply and when he got none, he continued... "I know you don't want to die. Do you know who I am?." He lifted his chin into the light. "I'm guessing you don't" he let his face go and sat up. He studied him for a moment and continued. "You see the people I represent are very powerful people. They can make your life better, all you have to do is cooperate." He paused again and waited for him to say something and when he didn't, he continued.. "On the other hand, they are not very nice people when they get angry and you don't want them getting angry.... You see because they will go after everything you have, everything you love, your family, friends. Don't you think that's too big a price to pay for just a little piece of information?".... "All you just need to do is tell me what I want to know and everything will go back to normal."
The young man laughed albeit painfully and said.. "You think I'm stupid? I talk and you have no use for me, I don't talk you have no use for me. Either ways I'm fucked, so why don't you get it over with?" Lawal was about to hit him at the back of his head with his rifle before Mr Femi stopped him.
"OK let's do it this way, how much are they paying you? I'll double it. Come on name your price. Just think what you could do with all that money, where you could go... You could disappear, live a peaceful life... Away from all of this. You're just one vital information from living your best life."

"That's a tempting offer" the young man smiled... "But like I said, I'm not stupid. I'd rather die than lie in bed with you." He spat on the floor before looking straight into Mr femi's eyes.
Mr Femi smiled and stood up from his seat.. "Its sad... Really sad.. Because I actually liked you" he gestured to lawal... "Dispose him off where nobody would find him"
"See you in hell motherfucker!" The young man laughed as he walked out. He needed to be careful this time around.. He was close. He could feel the rush, but he needed to be careful.

"What took you so long?" Amanda asked as Emeka slumped into the sofa in front of the television.

"Had some things to take care of"
"What things?" She sat beside him.
"It doesn't concern you" Emeka quickly replied...
"I'm not a kid anymore you know, I know things"
"Things like what" Emeka asked.
"Well I know for a fact that dad has been disturbed lately, something about our oil been stolen."
Emeka's eyes lit up. The dots were finally connecting. Mr Femi knows he's a Vancouver, he was planning another hostile takeover and he might want to use him as leverage. But that would be too audacious even for Femi. Vancouver inc was too big of a company, except he has something up his sleeve.
"Grandad isn't so well by the way"
Emeka snapped a look at Amanda... "And why am I just hearing this now?"
"I don't know.... I think dad wanted to wait until we were sure what it was. And you know grandad has a lot of enemies"....
That was when it dawned on him. He was the sole heir to a vast empire of wealth and influence. His grandfather was sick and Mr Femi knew it.
"I think you should call dad" Amanda suggested.
"I'm not talking to that man, not now and not in a long time to come"
"Why can't you two just get along?"
"Its none of your business" Emeka replied curtly.
"Well I have made it my business Emeka!" She snapped at him.
"Well if its that important to you, why don't you go ask him!" He snapped back.
"I might be a spoilt brat, but at least I know when to drop my ego and let things go"
"Exactly! Like right now... Please drop the topic!"
"Fine! Its fine!..... I made dinner, you can serve yourself if you're hungry."
That was when Emeka realised he had  been over the edge with his reactions. He grabbed her hand as she stood up to leave... "I'm sorry" his voice was apologetic... "A lot has been happening in just a few days, I was getting overwhelmed"

"Then talk to me Emeka!"... He paused and studied her for a moment.
"OK I'll tell you everything once its all sorted out"
"promise?"
"Promise."
"Ok.... But you're still serving yourself though" she snatched her arm away from Emeka's grasp and headed to the guest room.... "I have to go freshen up and change."
Emeka picked up his phone and texted bimbo; hey babe,
Hope you're good. Sorry I had to leave without a goodbye kiss. See you tomorrow.
He glanced at his wristwatch, it was 9pm. He quickly dashed to his room, took a quick bath and changed into his joggers and a hoodie. At least an hour of money heist on Netflix was sure to calm him down, money heist turned out to be an addictive series after all. He hurried to the kitchen and what was for dinner wasn't what he expected.... Fried chicken.... Nah... There has to be something like rice somewhere!..  The other pots were empty. "Amanda!" He yelled from the kitchen.
"Yes!" She yelled back at him from the guest room.
"Where is the food?"
"That's the food!.... There's some salad in the fridge"
What the fuck woman!! Salad and chicken for dinner... Where is the rice!!
"Who the fuck eats salad for dinner?" He asked bemused. She strolled out of the guest room into the kitchen.
"Apparently, healthy people do. You should start eating healthy"
"Bitch please! I'm already healthy.. Do I look like I'm trying to lose weight?"
Amanda laughed... "Well the deed is already done, I'll cook something better in the morning"
"Better!".. He scooped two chicken laps, added some salad to his plate, looked at Amanda and rolled his eyes before muttering "fucking chicken and salad" as he walked out.
Amanda couldn't stop herself from laughing. She couldn't believe that after all the years, he still complained like a child about food.
She followed him into the living room. She wore a sleeveless, short nightgown that highlighted her figure and gave prominence to her nipples.
"What are you watching?"
"Money heist" he answered as he took a bite of his chicken... "Have you seen? You should.. Its a really good movie"
She snuggled in with him as he ate, his attention focused on what he was watching. She waited for him to finish his food before she made her move. "You know I've missed you" she said as she rubbed a hand on his chest.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing.. Just telling you that I've missed you" her voice was seductively soothing... "And I know you've missed me too" she rubbed her hand down his crotch and she was instantly aroused by the size of his manhood.
"Amanda please stop this... You're my sister!"
"And when has that ever stopped us"
