Darcy groaned as she looked at the mess that was her apartment. Why did she think it was going to be a good idea to invite all of them over? It was as if all common sense had disappeared, and she had reverted back to her teenage self.

Kyana was using the towel as a blanket, Kace was somehow cuddling with Mariella, and Tori was face down on the table.

Darcy had somehow fallen asleep during the 'party' out of sheer exhaustion. And now, Ares had an arm tightly secured around her waist and was cuddling her. She could barely breathe.

What the hell happened?

And what made it worse, is that somehow during the night, Ares had lost his shirt. Darcy could see it dangling from the ceiling fan.

Her phone buzzed again. Selena.

Shit. It was almost eight-thirty. She had to go and open the diner.

She tried wriggling out of Ares' grip. She let out another quiet groan when it didn't work.

She just had to reach for her phone, and call Kai, maybe he could open the diner, she had given him the spare key after all. It was so close, on the coffee table.

"Agh!" Ares woke up as she fell off her couch, and she landed on top of him. "Oh. Hi, Quinn." He smirked at her, his hair sleep mussed and fluffy looking.

"Do me a favor, and let's not do that again." she grabbed her phone and rushed to her room while dialing Kai's number. "Shit, shit, shit, where's my black shirt?" she plugged in her straightening iron and started looking for something decent to wear.

"What happened? Kace, get the fuck off of me!" Well, that was a sign that Mariella was awake.

"Hello?" Kai finally answered. He sounded exhausted.

"I hate to do this to you, but can you please open the diner up? I'm running late- ow!" She'd touched the hot part of the straightening iron.

"Yeah sure, uh, lemme see." The was scuffling on the other side of the line.

Darcy gave up on the straightening iron and decided to just put her hair into a ponytail instead.

"The key is with Sel. I gave it to her after Sarah had Adrienne." He whispered into the phone, and Darcy assumed that his wife and Adrienne were asleep.

"Can you call her? I'm so sorry to trouble you this early in the morning."

"No, it's fine. Just, uh, why are you late?"

"It's a long story involving friends and them getting wasted."

"You have friends?" Kai asked sarcastically.

"Ouch, Kai. Has fatherhood made you a sarcastic shit?" Darcy deadpanned with a laugh, as she threw on a random pair of leggings and a black T-shirt.

"No, sleep deprivation has." Kai yawned.

"Well, you have fun with that! Gotta run!"

"Where are you going?" Kace asked his ex-girlfriend, one of his cheeks red, probably where Mariella slapped him.

Darcy stubbed her toe on the corner of the coffee table and winced. "Work."

"Shit, what time is it?" Kace asked, shaking his twin awake.
