Three weeks had passed since the last time I was bothered from the mysterious guy named Casper. It was certainly better, that way, I didn't have to overthink anymore. It was strange enough for him to stay on my mind this long.
After I finished my last drawing, I walked out of class and started searching for Emily.
Emily was a friend I considered close to me, having my back everytime I needed her. She always stood by me, no matter the occasion, even though we met the last year of high school and we couldn't hold our friendship for long. She knew a quite amount of things about me. My name, my favourite colour, band, show, singer, actor, and nothing more than the basic things. Because I always tended to stay secretive, not letting anyone in that easy. But even though she only knew the figure I presented at school, not the actual real me, I still considered her family, because I knew she would never judge me.
When she called me on Monday, exclaiming that she was coming back from Australia, I was eager to meet her. Her personality was something I adored Emily for. She could be irritating at times, annoying, cheerful, she could be happy too, but if anyone touched her beloved ones...she would turn into a whole another person. Emily was that kind of girl who would shove you in front of a car, if you pissed her off.
I remember one time, in high school, a boy had asked Emily out. After their first date, she had her suspicions that he was a player and only wanted to get in her pants. So when he told her nasty words and tried to convince her to sleep with him on their second date, as soon as he said those words, the next day, photos of him sleeping naked with a sign reading he needed money for surgery because his manhood was too small, spread everywhere around school.
I really missed her.
"Looking for me?"
A deep, raspy voice echoed around the hallway, the only noise filling the silent waves of air. I immediately knew it wasn't Emily who spoke, as I turned around slowly, being greeted with no other but Casper. The one who I thanked god for not crossing his path with me those three weeks.
Tingles run up my skin, as his intimidating stare made me crawl up into a small ball and hide. My body started to tremble, the fear forming on my stomach, unexplainable. So, in order to prevent that strange feeling in my stomach, I chose to ignore and walk past him.
Bad idea.
Without even expecting it, he grabbed my wrist, turned me around and pinned me to the cold wall abruptly. His large body blocked any possible escape of mine, as he pushed on my skin with force.
Panic started consuming me.
My eyes got wide, just from the way his were looking at me. I searched around me, begging for someone to pass by, but it seemed like earth had gulped every single moving species existing.
Casper looked far from pissed, he seemed furious. He wasn't carrying that emotionless look and arrogant attitude like he was keen to. The cold stone eyes were nowhere to be seen, as they were replaced by flaming fire.
Right now, I was the gasoline to his fire.
"Let me go!" I managed to mumble, in a weaker tone than I have planned.
His heavy breath fanned my face, as he continued to stare, his jaw clenched. The veins on his neck almost burst out from the anger, his arms flexing in a scary way.
"What the hell were you doing with him!?" His eyes got dangerously darker and his grip on my arm tighter.
"What the hell are you talking about!?" I asked in confusion, but I took a loud growl as a response. "You're hurting me, let me go!"
