Virgil's POV
I walk into the theater room with Roman and Patton. There are a lot of people in the room. We sit down in a chair and wait for the teacher to come. A short curly hair girl walks into the room.
"Hello Class, I am Miss Winchester. I want you to pick through these characters that are on the paper and right your name under their name. This year we can switch gender roles. So boys can be Zoe or anyone else. Girls you can be Evan, Connor, or anyone else. Any questions?"
No one makes a peep. "Okay here is the board." Miss Winchester says.
The board goes around and I am the last person to get the paper. I look all the options. Jared Kleinman, Zoe Murphy, Alana Beck, Connor Murphy, Cynthia Murphy, Larry Murphy, Evan Hansen, Heidi Hansen, and dancers. I see no one put there name under Connor. I wonder why. I put my name down under Connor Murphy. Then I look around the teacher was coming toward me.
"Here let me take that." Miss Winchester says.
I hand her the board.
"Okay class. Here are the parts you need to take. If you want Jared the script is here. Zoe is here. Alane is here. Connor is right here. Cynthia is here. Larry is here. Evan is here. And Heidi is here. Tomorrow you will try out of you part and tomorrow at 5 you will know your parts." She says
We all grab our parts and head out of class.
