Virgils POV
I am walking out of the school from play rehearsals. I had to get to work in an hour.
"Virgil!" I hear someone yell. I turn around to see Roman coming up to me. When I turn around he is holding my hand. I stare at him then at my hand and he let's go.
"Sorry." He says
"Its fine. I have had a weird day." I say.
"Speaking of that. Um... I um." Roman says as he plays with his jacket buttons.
"Roman what's going on?" I say
"Patton broke up with me!" He yells
I look at him in the eyes. I see tears start to form. "Roman." I say as I drop my stuff and hug him. "Do you need a place to sleep?" I ask
"Um, with Logan be okay with that?" He asks while he hugs me back.
"He should be fine. You can sleep in the guest bedroom." I say
"Thank Virge. You are an amazing friend." He says
"Thanks. Do you want me to go to Pattons with you so you can grab yourstuff?" I ask
"No I got it. I will be at your house at 6." He says as he pulls away from the hug and wipes his tears away.
"Okay. Do you need me to call off of work today?"
"No you need to make the money."
"No if you need me I will call in today."
"Logan can help me.
"Okay when I get back from work I will help you too." I say.
I grab my stuff and we walk outside to our vehicles. Patton took Logan to work so it was just me in my car. I got into it and I see a note in it.
Dear Virge.
Thanks for today. I also see you have the same car as you did in High School. It still looks amazing.

He also put his phone number on the bottom of the note. I smile and I head home.

I walk into my house at 10:03 from work. I walk into my room to get into my hoodie and Jean's and then go to the guest room. Roman was out on the bed. I smiled. Logan had to go to work an hour ago. I walk into Romans room. I look around and see he still had the pictures of us hanging up. Tears well up into my eyes. Why was I crying. I look around and see he still has the same posters and the same beding as before. He was the same Roman. Except he was single. I walk out of the room and I go to my bed and fall asleep.
