Virgils POV
I sit down where I normally sit with Logan, Roman, and Patton.
"So Virgil. Anything happen?" Roman asks me. Did he know abput John kissing me?
"Nope." I say with taking a bite of my food.
"Hey I heard there is a new kid. Anyone know who it was?" Patton says.
John spots me and sits down next to me.
"Hi Virge." He says.
"Its you!" Roman screams starlting the crap out of me.
"Its who?" John asks.
"From that night, and you were at, and." Roman says
"Hi I am Patton." Patton says to John.
"John. You know virgil, it is amazing how you and your ex could still be friends, but you and I cant be." John says
"Hello John. I am Logan." Logan says.
"You know what I am not going to sit hear and be silent. John why are you here. You don't belong here." Roman says.
Hearing Roman says John doesn't belong here hits me really hard.
Flashback
I don't know anyone but John. Maybe I could sit with him. I walk over to John.
"Hey could I-" I say
"Yo Freak what are you doing here. You don't belong here." I hear I jock yells at me.
"Please sit." John says.
Present time
"Roman shut the fuck up. He can sit where ever he wants to." I say remembering what John did for me.
"No he is right I don't belong here. I belong in College City. Not here. But I am here now and I cant go back." John says as he leaves the table.
"Virgil. Are you okay?" Roman says. I feel a tear fall down my cheek. Why am I crying.
"I'm fine. Not like you care." I say as I get up and leave. I walk to the bathroom to see john having a panic attack.
"John?" I say as I rush over to him.
"They hate me. Everyone hates me. You hate me. My parents hate me. Even I hate me." He says as he starts to shake more than before.
"Come sit." I say as I lead John to the corner of the bathroom. I hold him in my arms. I knew what made them better. Just sitting there in silence and feeling someone else's heart beat and warmth helps. We sit there till his breathing evens out. "John-"
"Virgil I'm sorry I cheated on you. I am so so sorry. I didn't know you were Ace and, and I thought you just didn't like me so I-"
"John, it is okay. That is in the past everything is okay now." I say
"Virgil?" He says
"John?"
"Can you call me Blade?" He asks
"Why?" I ask
"My middle name is Blade and it us better than the name John so."
"Yeah, I will call you Blade." I say "Also before you get any ideas Logan is my boyfriend." I say which makes us both laugh.
"Why did you and Roman break up?" Blade asks
"Um, he was cheating on me with Patton." I say ashamed.
"Hey don't be ashamed it wasn't your fault." John says
"But I feel as if it was." I say
"Virgil?" Patton says.
I run into a stall and hide. I realized I was crying.
"Hey John have you seen Virgil, Logan wants him." Patton says
"No I haven't seen him." Blade says.
"Okay thanks." Patton says
I get out of the bathroom stall. "Thanks." I say
