Virgil POV
I get really nervous. It is now my turn to show my skills. I walk into the room and take a few deep breaths. I look around, there is the teacher and 2 other adults watching me. Just us in this room.
"Hello, Please state your name, age, grade, gender, and part." The lady in the middle says.
"Virgil Moores, 17, Senior Year, Male, Connor Murphy." I say
"Okay please start."
I start to say my parts I feel great about this.
...
I am at my house with Roman, Patton, and Logan. I am laying on logan and he is playing with my hair. Patton and Roman are cuddling.
"Virge you probably got the part." Logan says
"I know I probably did. Roman do you think you got the part?" I ask
"Yeah I think I did great. What about you babe do you think you made it." He asks patton.
"Yeah I do." Patton says.
About 10 seconds later our phones go off. I open it. It is th-
"OMG it is who got what part!" Patton says
"Wait! Let's have Logan tell us who we get to play." Roman says
"Okay." I say
"Okay do me first!" Patton says.
I give logan my phone.
"Patton you are Cynthia Murphy. Roman you are Zoe Murphy."
He goes quiet.
"What am I not on there?" I say.
"And the wonderful amazing Virgil Moorse is... Evan Hansen." Logan says.
I go wide eyed.
"Who is Connor then?" I ask
"Remy." Logan says.
"Well I see none of us got thr part they wanted." I say
"I am fine with mine." Roman says
"Same here." Patton says
"Good." I say "oh crap I have to go to work at 6:30." I say
"Well it's 6:04." Roman says
I get up and run to my bedroom and change my clothes. I walk out of my room and to the living room with everyone else.
"Okay I will drive you." Logan says
"What movie is playing?" Patton asks
"The Lion King. But come on we gotta go." I say
"Got to." Logan says
We walk out the door and get to the theater. Logan drops me off and leaves. I walk in and we start our shifts and get ready. There we so many people there. Then Patton, Roman, and Logan walk in. I smile.
"Hey baby what's up." I say
"Can we get 3 root beers and 3 medium bags of popcorn." Logan says
"Will that be all?" I ask
"Can I ask get 2 cookie and cream bars and gummies life savers." Patton says.
I get there food and drinks and they walk off.
...
I walk outside after my shift and I see Logan was waiting outside for me at his car.
"Hey Logy." I say
"Hey Virge. Let's go home." He says
It was still weird not having him live in his house and living in mine. I head to the other side of the car and hop in. We head home and fall fast asleep.
