"You look so beautiful." Alex says to Sabrina. She is standing in the doorway in her hotel room. She's wearing a lavish red dress with a belt around the waist.

Alex is wearing a simple tux. He was taking her to have a picnic under the stars. Very romantic yet cliche.

James. James suddenly pops into her head for some reason. She was starting to feel the slightest bit of guilt. She could see him standing there, in her mind, smiling that amazing smile of his.

She shakes her head discretely and shrugs it off. Thankfully Alex didn't notice.

"Let us go." Alex says, snapping her out of her daze. He grabs her hand and smiles. "Let's." She says.

"Are you enjoying Paris so far?" Alex asks Sabrina as they are walking hand in hand up the street light lit street.

Sabrina nods. "I am. It's so romantic here. I can't even compare it." She sighs.

"It is." He grins, squeezing her hand.

They finally reach their destination. They walk up a little hill and Alex sets down the basket. He pulls out a blanket to put on the ground and some candles, which he lights.

After everything is set up they sit down next to eachother.

"Sabrina, you are stunning. Not only that but your personality too."

Sabrina blushes and smiles at his kind words.
"Thank you." She says gratefully. Alex moves in closer to her. He puts his hand on her thigh and looks her in the eye.

"tu es plus belle que toutes les étoiles que nous voyons ce soir." He smiles. "You know what that means?"

Sabrina shakes her head. He said it with such admiration and romance.

"You are more beautiful than all the stars we see tonight." He says. Sabrina feels her face getting hot. She smiles and looks down.

He lifts up her chin and moves his lips towards hers. Here it comes. She thought. She was about to feel what she had been hoping to feel for the past two weeks.

His lips land on hers and he starts kissing her.

Nothing.

She felt nothing. Instead, her mind traveled back to James. His lips on hers and how she felt an entire explosion of romantic feelings for him.

She pulls away and looks down. "What is wrong?" Alex asks her.

Sabrina shakes her head. "This was a mistake." She whispers. "I'm sorry, Alex. I'm so sorry for leading you on like this."

Alex looks confused and kind of sad. "What do you mean Sabrina?" He asks.

Sabrina sighs. She had just realized who she should truly be with. Who she was meant to be with. Who she realized she loved so much.

"Alex, I like you, but there's someone at home who I just realized I'm madly in love with." She starts backing away. "I'm so so sorry." She bewails apologetically.

She turns around and leaves, leaving Alex sitting on the ground, dazed and confused.
She feels terrible for leaving Alex like this, but it just didn't feel right being with him. He will find someone else who is better for him.

James finally finishes his work on the tree house, adding just a few more touches. He had painted the entire place, just for Sabrina. Now, he just hoped that Sabrina will return to him, alone.

Sabrina sat on her bed. She was finished packing and is waiting for her car to arrive to take her to the airport.
