I see her everyday. She's in most of my classes.

During class, I look at her hands --full of calluses and sore spots.

I've always watched her and suddenly she became different. This happened about one month ago.

During lunch, I look at her talking with her friends, laughing and teasing --but her smile doesn't reach her eyes anymore.

She used to be a ray of sunshine, always there when someone was sad --she's still there, but she's not as happy and comforting as she used to be.

It's like she put on layers of covers and I wanted to be the one to remove them.
