Lia
We sat at the deck outside, on the table that was set there and had our barbecue, Niz and Skyler made a race to see who would finish the burger first, Kayley and Kade kept on devouring their hotdogs and had ketchup and mustard all over their faces, my uncle and auntie really amused to see all of this.
Natasha was giving me the stink eye, which I ignored but was really annoying and took most of me to not yell at her to stop looking at me.
We talked about random things before all of us kids jumping into the pool, the twins were whining because all of us jumped in and they had to clean their mustard filled faces. We were having tons of fun.
Skylar suggested we race, so we did various rounds in different swimming styles, and we laughed remembering the days when the four of us, Niz, Natasha, Skylar and I, used to have swimming lessons.
We played volleyball, had chicken fights, although we had to really pressure Natasha into playing with us until she finally did and even if she didn't want to admit it, we all know she had fun.
Later, we stayed by the deck chatting and laughing at memories shared.
"Remember that day at the water park trip we took?" Sky asked us.
"Don't even remind me." I muttered still laughing a bit.
"Niz, let me tell you how much of a rat your sister was." Sky laughs.
"Oh no." Natasha and I say.
"So we were in one of those trips we used to take regularly, you wouldn't remember this one because you were little. There we are in the water park, all of us, grandma and grandpa were there too.
"After we're all set and stuff, we enter the pool, everything is okay till then, when Lia gets the great idea that we should have a place to sit under water. Well, I don't understand what she's saying and wait for her to elaborate more but she just looks at us and goes 'just follow my lead'
"She pushes the first chair over a bit near to the pool, discreetly. Then says anyone who wants one should get it themselves. Natasha and I went over and grabbed our chairs, sitting when we got where your sister was.
"Eliazet looks to the sides, and when she made sure no one was looking, pushed her chair into the pool before jumping in herself and pushing it down."
"What?" Niz exclaimed while Natasha let out a snort.
"Oh yes, little Anais, she pushed it into the pool, and of course, Natasha and I followed exactly what she did, and she called it 'underwater lounge'. And it doesn't seem too bad up til that point, but, my oh my, Eliazet took it to a whole another level. She managed to get more chairs inside the pool and said she was going to have a party with the mermaids who lived in the park.
"You wouldn't believe what your sister did that day. She was even able to bring down a table! A freaking table. From where? I don't know but she did it somehow. You can only imagine the lifeguards face when he saw what was happening. Since the chairs were plastic, they were all floating around the pool, a few stayed down but the rest were just everywhere.
"Grandma almost had a heart attack that day. And Eliazet wasn't even grounded or anything, she was just told to remove everything she had put inside the pool." Sky finished.
Niz was laughing so hard she was on the ground, even Natasha had tears from all the laughter.
"Well, it was fun." I chuckled.
"Yeah but you got me in trouble because apparently I was supposed to be the responsible one." Sky laughed.
"And got me in trouble and I don't even know why." Natasha added with a smile.
"I'll bake you one cookie each for the trouble caused." I smiled at him, still shaking a bit from the laughter.
"Oh my god, Lia, and you call me a rat." Niz shook her head.
I stuck out my tongue to her and squeezed her nose.
"Anyways, it's getting late, we should get going." I told them and stood up, helping Niz up too.
"Want a ride?" Sky asked.
"Yeah." I answered.
We went inside and Niz and I started packing our things before going to say bye to my auntie and uncle.
"Say hi to your mom, tell her to call me one of these days. I got new family gossip." Uncle Josh grinned.
"Bye, girls, be safe." Aunt Wendy said.
We all ended up going, Natasha was riding shotgun, and I was in the backseat with Niz, Kade and Kayley.
Uhm.. Sorry?
I took so long to update, probably lost the only five readers I had. Well, not anymore. I got the story sorted out the plot is complete and I can update weekly if I'm really devoted. But my classed start in two weeks so I'm not really sure.
