"Hey stranger." I say.
"Hey player." she says back
We're a few lockers away from each other.
"How are you doing?" I ask.
"Fine, I guess." she shrugs. "And you? Gotten over your crush already?" she teases with a smirk on her face.
"I told you she isn't my crush. But I'm fine too." the bell rings. "See you in class."
"Yeah... see ya." she sighs.
She starts walking before I can ask what's up.

We didn't have any of the first three periods together but I spent all of them thinking about her.
Thinking about how I'm going to put my plan in action.
We already speak to each other but now I have to find out how to speak with her in private.
It's lunch time and as always, she's there with Dora, Tina and Chelsea.
"Yo. Whachu lookin at?" Justin, my friend, asks.
"Nothing. Why?"
"You looked deep in thought. Like," he made a dramatic face, squinting his eyes and puckering his lips.
I joke-slapped his shoulder. "Bruh, you look like an actor from a low budget movie trying to look dramatically to the sea."
He gave me a confused look and I shook my head muttering "Didn't even understand what I said myself." I chuckled.
The bell rings to signal the end of lunch time. I look to her table to see she's no longer there and her friends are packing up.

Dora and I are at the library searching for a book to start our assignment.
We found a book, took two copies of them and started reading.
"Hey, I've got an idea." Dora says to me in the middle of our reading.
"Yeah?"
"So you see the main character in this book is fighting against the government. She believes what they're doing is wrong. So maybe our story could be inspired by that: a young man or woman, fighting for independence. But we could make it sci-fi. You know.
"This young girl, seventeen or so, believes that their lives can be free. That they can live without the people from a certain company or something spying on them and seeing their every move. We can either-"
Dora's voice fades away when I notice who just entered the book-filled place.
There she is, face flushed, with Dominic, maybe talking about which book they should read.
They split ways and she heads to the thriller section while Dominic heads to the action section.
So she likes thriller. Good to know.
"Gale? GALE!" Dora shouts and gets a 'Shhhhh' and a nasty look from the old lady.
"Huh? What?" I stutter.
"You agree?" she asks.
"Mmm. Yeah." Although my words came out more as a question.
"So you agree we could make a sex scene and you could star?"
"Ye-wha..."
"Who's making a sex scene?" Lia chuckles as she sits down on one side of the table, a book in her hands.
"Gale here says he can star but-"
"Gale here said nothing about that." I interrupt.
"But you said you agreed-" Dora continued unable to contain her laugh.
"I didn't even listen to what you were saying." I justify.
She raised her brow and I looked down.
"Where's Dom?" Dora asks Lia.
"He's somewhere around here." she shrugs.
"Shouldn't you be together, exchanging ideas and stuff?"
"Yeah we should but...eh." she says, shrugging.
She shrugs a lot.
"Oh well. Wishing you luck." Dora crosses her fingers.
"Me too, stranger." I cross my fingers, giving her an amused look.
She shakes her head giving a slight smile.
"Please tell Dominic I'll be back soon." Lia says as she starts to stand up.
"Okay sure." Dora answers.
"Thanks."
