Lia
Niz and I made our breakfast and decided to go to the pool at my cousins' house -well, she decided and my mom told me to go with her. Natasha, my cousin, isn't really pleasant and maybe it's just me but it looks like she's got it out for me. Well for everyone but especially me.
The only thing I like about going is that she's got a really cool older brother, Skyler, and twin little brother and sister, Kayley and Kade.
We get to the Gardners' residence at 1pm and Niz knocks at the red door. My mom's brother, uncle Josh, is standing in front of us before pulling us both into tight hugs. My uncle is really cool, too, I think that's where Sky gets it from.
We get inside and I already hear the noise coming from different places, especially the mischievous laughs from Kayley and gasping from Kade. Once we walk into the living room, I see Skyler sitting in front of the TV playing a videogame and Kade and Kayley run past us laughing. The TV is really loud and topping that off I can hear music coming from upstairs, probably from Natasha's room.
"Hey, Sky!" I greet him.
"Eliazet, what's poppin'?" he answers.
"Ew, who says what's poppin?" I laugh.
"I actually don't know where that came from."
"Yeah, sure." I tease him.
He blows raspberry and turns to Niz, "Anais! Oh my god, how are you, favourite cousin?"
"I'm your favourite now, huh?" she laughs, "I'm okay and you?"
"Better now that I have my gaming partner. Ready to be butt-kicked?"
"The only person getting their ass whooped is you." she retorts. I do a double-take and look at her surprised. "Oops?"
I laugh. "It's fine just don't let mom hear you say that."
"Your mom has a sailor's mouth, she doesn't have business trying to get you two to not swear." my uncle swoops in. We all share a laugh.
I make my way to the kitchen to greet my aunt. "Hi, aunt Wendy. How are you?"
"Anna, Lia, I am good and you?" she answers.
"We're fine too." Niz says.
"Natasha is just upstairs, you can go." aunt Wendy suggests.
I look at her with a sympathetic face and give an awkward smile that ends up rolling to the side.
"Yeah, I know. Just wanted to try. It's like she's getting worse by the day, having a friend like you would do her good." she sighs.
"I have tried, auntie, if she didn't have this unknown problem against me I wouldn't have a problem being her friend." I tell her.
She shrugs and sighs but quickly shakes it off and smiles. "Anyways, we are having a barbecue, what would you girls like?"
"A burger and some steak for me." Niz says.
"Just a mini hotdog, I don't want much." I tell her.
"You sure, Lia?"
"Can't you see she's fat mom? She shouldn't even eat a hotdog." Natasha says. "Try a salad, Lia, it'll do you good."
I roll my eyes and ignore her, "Yes, aunt Wendy, I'm sure. Thank you." I
Heyyy! I took so long to update, oh my frigging goodness. This chapter isn't that relevant to the storyline, it is more like a filler chapter and it is longer than usual.
