At three o'clock, I knock at Lia's door. A woman with brown, wavy hair and light hazel eyes greets me.

She doesn't look that much like Lia but I see similarities between the two of them. "Mrs.Park?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"I came here to do a project with Lia." I explain.

"But Dominic's already here." she looks confused.

"Oh no. I'm her Biology partner. Dominic's her English partner."

"Ohh. Come on in." she smiles warmly, opening the door wider and gesturing inside.

I get inside and she points to a direction while she goes in the other.

I go in the direction she points to and it takes me to the living room, I think.

Dominic was packing his stuff and he stood up. "Bye Lia." he said.

He was going out but stopped when he saw me. "Sup bro."

"Sup." we did the bro-handshake.

"Hi Lee."

"Hey. So we can start on the eye right?"

"Yeah sure."

Lia's mom came inside with a platter. It had cookies, chips, a salad, juice, soda and water.

"Food anyone? Eat before you start so that you won't stop in the middle of the project."

"Ah. Thanks Mrs.Park. This was sweet of you." I smile at her.

"Hmm. Lia." Mrs.Park winks.

"Mom." Lia groans. "Stop."

"Mrs.Park?"

"Call me Liz. Anyways, yes?" she answers.

"Liz. Where's the bathroom? I need to wash my hands." I ask. I was drawing with Dora before I came here so they're a bit dirty.

"Down that hall to the left." she points to a hall.

"Thank you." I say.

I reach the bathroom and wash my hands in the sink.

As I'm cleaning them with a towel, I look beside the toilet seat and inside the trash can I see lots of boxes and containers.

I shrug it off, probably their first aid kit stock.

I get to the living room and Lia's there, drinking from the water bottle.

I start munching on the chips and she turns on the TV. She starts scrolling through Netflix. "Okay so choose between Nowhere Boys and Degrassi: Next Class." she tells me.

"Degrassi: Next Class." I choose.

"Okay then. Nowhere Boys it is." She turns it on.

I furrow my brows and let out a laugh.

"But we must focus on our work. We have to finish it asap." she tells me.

"We still have so much time. We can make it perfect." I tell her.

"Yeah. Right." she trails off.
