We are in the locker room after class, taking showers and changing.
"Sorry 'bout that, man." I apologize to Justin for getting Mr. Ramos angry at us.
"It's okay. Yeah, so I was saying that I need your help. Do you know what she likes?"
"Who again?" I ask. I didn't get to ask him earlier because that teacher was already mad at us, we didn't need any punishment today.
"Lillian. Lillian Fletcher?" He ask.
"Blonde girl, about this tall and wired frame round glasses?" I try describing her as I remembered.
She is the girl Jones is after. The one he tried to sit with so they could do the Bio project together.
"That's the one. So do you know anything about her at all?"
"Not really, I haven't actually talked to her. But she seems like a nice girl. If you really like her then go slowly, become her friend and then ask her out. Good luck, bruh." I pat his back.
"Okay. Anyways, how are things with Lia?" He asks.
"Okay, I think. I'm trying to get to know her better. Get to know what she likes etcetera."
"The best of luck to you too, bro."

I ring the doorbell of Lee's house and wait. Her mom opens the door for me.
"Hi. Gale, right?" she asks.
"Hello and yes, it's Gale." I smile slightly.
"Come on in. I'll call Lia. She's been up in her room almost all day."
I go inside and wait by the entrance for Mrs. Park to call Lia.
"Lia, come downstairs. Your friend is here." She yells.
When her daughter didn't respond she held up a finger to me, muttering "hold on a bit," and went upstairs to call her.
I showed myself to the living room and sat on the couch.
I remove my cellphone from my pocket and scroll through twitter.
