Chapter 8 ~ Chrysalis

I am on a train going to Canterlot. Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry are getting married. And a threat is made against Equestira. I don't know why I was brought with them. I do know that Cadence and Shining Armor are going to be there. A good reason to stay away from royalty most the time. I notice the shirld around Canterlot and also notice that it is made to guard Canterlot from evil. Including dark magic. It seems like Twilight's friends don't notice a thing. Twilight had gone there a few days before.

"I have to stay behind."

I mutter to myself.

"What was that?"

Rainbow Dash asks me.

"I can't go inside Canterlot with all of you. There is a shield that protects Canterlot from any dark magic or something of the sorts. If it is weakened just to let me in, then whoever made the threat against Equestria wil be able to enter."

I explain to them.

"A threat against Equestria?  Now why weren't we told about this?"

Applejack asks.

"I don't know. Maybe Celestia didn't want you ponies to panic."

I say with a shrug. 

"Makes sense. How are you going to get out of the train before it goes through the shield?"

Rarity asks.

"He's a unicorn. Duh. He can just teleport out of the train."

Pinkie says with a 'duh' tone. I nod and say nothing. I look back outside and notice that we are getting closer quickly.

"Are you sure you'll be fine?"

Fluttershy asks.

"I was stuck in ice for a thousand years. A week is easy."

I asure her. I spot the guards up ahead that are right outside the shield.

"Time to go."

I say and start to generate a teleportation spell.  I teleport to right behind the guards. One spots me.

"Hey, who are you?"

One of them asks with a spear pointed to me.

"Nopony accept for Sombra."

I say, looking at him not careing about the spear pointed at me.

"Looks like we found the threat."

The other says.

"If you take me and leave you post, then the real threat can try getting in. And the threat was made by a pony who isn't a big dark magic user."

I say to them.

"You just trying to trick us so we can get away. Then you'll sneak in."

The first one says.

"I can't get in. Watch."

I say and walk up to the shield and put a hoof on it. It feels like a solid wall.

"You're faking."

The second one says.

"Fine. Try taking me inside to Celestia."

I say, knowing they have nothing to do with the spell. I jump up to them and they start to make me walk towards the shield. They step in, while I just press against the shield.

"You are unicorn. You can teleport in."

One says. I teleport in, only to be thrown out.

"See. I can't get in. Besides, I don't really care about messing up Twilight Sparkle's wedding with a guard from the Crystal Empire."
