"is yoongi here?" a woman walked into the police station and towards a cop.

"yes ma'am, he's busy at the moment. would you li-"

the women ran towards her son's office and opened the door. yoongi looked away from his papers and up towards his mother. his shock expression changed when the women spoke. "it's your brother-"

yoongi pushed all his work aside and told his mother to sit. family always came first and right now he knew something wasn't good.

"what happened? is he okay?"

"no!" his mother sat down on the chair and pulled out jungkook's phone from her purse, the screen was severally shattered and some of the parts of the phone seemed to be broken or missing. "On my way towards jungkook's apartment, i found his phone on the ground." she turned it around and pointed at the case. it was a transparent case and on the inside was a photo of jungkook and his girlfriend. "he wouldn't just drop his phone and leave it. when i went up to his apartment, he didn't answer his door. i asked both of his neighbors when they last saw him leave and they said four days ago! my baby is missing yoongi!"

yoongi tried to process all the information his mother provided for him but he couldn't stop thinking about all the bad things that could have happened to his younger brother. he pulled out the recent death reports and tried to look for his brother's name but nothing came up but something did catch his eyes.

he grabbed his phone and dialed a number, "hello this is lieutenant yoongi, i need information on case 172."

the other line was quiet, you could hear shuffling of papers before a voice could be finally heard. "a body was found in han river yesterday. the body seemed to have a stab wound but the body has still not been identified."

yoongi rubbed his forehead, scared his bother was somehow linked to this murder. "thank you," he said before hanging up the phone. he turned to his mother and forced a smile on. "i'll get to the bottom of this. don't worry mom."
